Hey,

Didnt know if to post this here or in "disney chat" as they are not really collectibles but will post here.

Dont no if anyone is interested or has seen but in my local Co op and other supermarkets they have just got in Disney princess kinder eggs:) Don't no if they are actually new, but my store has just got them in- so they maybe new.

You can get Ariel,Aurora,Cinderella, Jasmine, Snow White, Belle and Rapunzel:)
I have 2x Ariel, Aurora and Cinderella:)
89p per egg.
Felt super silly Being a 21 year old boy buying Princess Kinder eggs lol, but they are cute!

Kinder eggs are illegal in the US. *shrug* Some regulation about not being able to sell a non-food enclosed within a food.

Been a while since I had one here in Canada :)

Love Kinder Eggs! I've gotten them before on trips to Europe. Yeah, unfortunately you can't get them here in the U.S.

Matt, is that the picture that you have posted of the kinder eggs. My grand daughter would love them. I would assume you can make eggs or I'm being daft again?

Im not sure I know what you mean by make the eggs lol? They are a chocolate egg you buy and inside the egg are little toys, the picture is of the disney princess toys you can get inside the kinder egg:)
And no problem:)

Awwwww, that is so sweet. I was thinking how would you get an egg from the princess! LOL
I would love to buy a set for my grand daughter for Easter, but not sure if illegal to send.
How many of the old timers here remember the soap you got a prize in ? I had Mickey Mouse once and got a plastic Mickey figure and ring. Double surprise. LOL

Next time I'm in the supermarket, I'll take a lot at the kinder eggs, to see if we've got them. We probably haven't. I would really like some though XD

I once read its because of the toys. Some are already tiny, with even more tiny parts to put together. Figurines come in usually 2 parts, but cars and planes have tiny little wheels and such.

I posted the frozen figurines to the US, no problem there. Just can't ship the entire chocolate egg.

I was seriously soooo surprise that it was illegal in the US, coming from Canada; I thought everybody in the world has them. It's funny though cause you can't bring them on carry-ons when going to the airport but you can put them in your checked baggage cause it's already checked & they can't do anything about it. I got like 3 of them for my friend when I was visiting last October lol.

In 2012 the FDA re-issued their import alert stating “The imbedded non-nutritive objects in these confectionery products may pose a public health risk as the consumer may unknowingly choke on the object.”

If someone tries to eat a hard plastic egg inside of a chocolate egg they deserve to choke.

In June 2012 the potential fine per egg was quoted as US$2,500.
:eek2:

Thats just insane.

Im curious to know the rate of choking deaths in the countries that do sell these.

Ooh, Disney kinder egg toys! Gotta get me some of those. I collect Kinder egg toys anyway, so Disney ones are a must. No doubt I will end up with doubles to trade; when I collected the Monsters University ones I bought loads of eggs and ended up still having to get the last figure on eBay. (Still have a spare Mike, by the way!) The difficult thing is not knowing if the egg contains a toy from the series you're looking for or not; sometimes they do boxes of three where one is guaranteed to be from the featured series. Matty, since you already got some, perhaps you can tell me - is it easy to find the ones with the Princess toys in? Are they in big trays of all Princess ones, or in the boxes of three with one Princess in, or did you just buy loads and get lucky getting the ones you did?

Did someone mention there having been Frozen ones? I totally missed those if so :(.

You know, I was quite irritated when they first 'gendered' the eggs into boys and girls toys, but since I realised it means they now make toys that are far more traditionally 'girly', that they wouldn't have made before, I think it's kinda a good thing! The Princess toys look adorable.

We don't have kinder eggs but a different company makes basically the same thing over here in Japan. Right now our local supermarket as wreck it Ralph, two versions of Mickey and Minnie, vanelope, Rapunzel, Ariel, Marie, skeleton jack, and I must be missing a couple of others off the top of my head.

My daughter loves them, beak open the chocolate for her
