Totally have. I'm really sad I missed out on getting this for my friend. She's getting married at Disneyland this year in a whole Cinderella thing (the dress, the coach). She found out a little too late about the slipper, which she wanted to use, and the resale prices are making it utterly unattainable.
 
Personally, I hated the movie. A reviewer said that the movie was basically like a Fabergé egg, beautiful on the outside and empty on the inside. I wholeheartedly agree with this statement. The movie looked stunning and the directing and costumes were good. But I really hated everything else.
I guess it comes with the fact that I never liked the story of cinderella, so much that it's actually one of my least favorite Disney movies. And seeing this movie cling so close to that movie (She is talking to mice! and the mice are talking back to her!) ruined it for me. I'm glad you guys enjoyed it though! :)
 
I think Gus is such a favorite character for many that they couldn't cut him out. I was worried at first, but I'm actually glad they kept him. I've always loved Cinderella and was sort of happy to see that they pulled a little bit from a few of my favorite adaptations of the story, in addition to the animated version.
Also, costume porn. :)
 
I was never too impressed with the LE glass slipper. If it looked more movie accurate like the one they had displayed at the Disney Store, I would have loved to have owed it. As it is, the the Funko Pop version for an eventual $10, will be a fine alternative. >_<

anyone know when the iHome cinderella stuff is coming out? the carriage speaker is one of the last things on my list of cinderella things to buy.
 
My Blue Cindy has shipped! Although I won't be seeing her for until about two weeks as I live in the Philippines. I use a different shipping service to save on customs. Takes a bit of time, but customs tend to overcharge so it's worth the wait. Crossing my fingers she'll arrive in perfect condition! I've been lucky with my packages before, here's hoping my luck won't change.

On a different note, I've seen photos of Wedding Cindy on Instagram and I just loooove her box!

Oh yes! That carriage speaker is gorgeous! I don't know how those items are being released. I know HSN had the headphones. Didn't see the speaker though. Good luck!
 
Saw the movie this Saturday I thought it was done really well and I loved Cate Blanchett and Lily james they really did an awesome job at being their characters! I also cried an awful lot. And for someone that's not a huge Cinderella fan it was amazing!!! Loved frozen fever as well!!! Now I have an awful urge to purchase everything from the movie!!! :lol: Can't wait for it to come out on DVD.
 
Does anyone know if disney store UK will get anymore of the 12" Cinderella and fairy godmother dolls?

I looked yesterday and it said sold out. Now they've disappeared!

yes they should do, the movie isn't out in the UK till the end of the month so i think the demand for them will increase once the movie is released. disney are preparing to re-stock the 12inch wedding ella and prince in april (i called to check and they said the set was going to be re-stocked spring) im assuming they will probably re-stock the others around the same time. I ended up getting the wedding set in oxford st, maybe check with your local disney store to see if they have them in
 
I wonder why the Cinderella dolls are so easy to get, even my local store has them. Wereas last year Maleficent sold out and they didn't restock her and I never saw her in store either.
 
It was opposite for my store. There was a steady supply of Maleficent dolls, but the Cinderella dolls keep disappearing... then reappearing... then disappearing again. The ball gown version seems to sell the most. These dolls turned out way better than the Maleficent ones. They almost seem like designer dolls.

I'll have to talk the hubby into going shopping as the nearest disney store is 1-2hrs away.

My local store had lots of Maleficent dolls left about a week after she was out. It was the same time I picked up my Cinderella Designer set. They even had the blue and pink auroras left. I spent about an hour in my store that day just admiring the dolls!

Blue Cinderella was still in my store Saturday along with Kristoff and 1 Designer Fawn.

Cinderella and her story is so much more iconic. With Maleficent they weren't sure how well the movie would do, so they didn't produce as much merchandise. ^_^
 
Getting psyched for finally seeing the movie (date night tomorrow night) and I just realized what would be really nice would be some iridescent/holographic/sparkly/shiny Cinderella stickers. Has anyone seen or heard of anything like that?
