Cinderella 2015 Merchandise
I'm no expert on these figures (unless they release Tiana, this is the only one I'll ever want), so hopefully someone else will weigh in if I misunderstood what others have explained to me.

These are Showcase figures, also made by Enesco, but a different line (Cinematic Moments or something?). I THINK Disney Store only carries the Couture de Force figures, so it doesn't sound like they'll get the Cinematic Moments line. If they do, Cinderella will cost more because of the royalties to Lily James.

However, I know some Frozen figures ended up going on crazy sale on Amazon and places like that. They probably over-produced due to the expected demand. I'm not sure if Cinderella will have the same result. I just know I full-price love this figure... but it's more $$$ than I was expecting I'll admit.

I haven't really shared my Cinderella collection here yet, so here's a pic of my main shelf (I've converted my TV room into a Cinderella room, which is currently under construction).

As an afterthought, I went and compared BBTS prices with DS.com's prices, and they seem to be about the same, give or take $5 (for example, CdF Elsa is $5 cheaper on BBTS), but they're mostly the same. So, I guess if DS gets this figure it will be the same but cheaper when you consider free shipping (I think my shipping cost $8 on BBTS). Maybe hold off and see if DS gets it? I personally didn't want to risk it, but that's called panic purchasing, which is bad, lol.

Is there any news on the DVD release? I'm so desperate to have it so I can watch it everyday! :)

There's no word yet, which makes me think it'll be released in August, giving it the same 5-month turnaround as Maleficent. I'm telling myself a longer release date means there might be some kind of LE release to coincide.

But it sucks that it's pulled from theaters in my city. I'm almost desperate enough to stream it (I was seeing it an average of every other week when it was in theaters, so I'm withdrawling hard ).

That is a gorgeous steelbook. I was kind of expecting the Zavvi steelbook image to be the slipper from the very first teaser poster though. Its probably the image on the back.

I really gotta start keeping up to date with all of this Disney merchandise again. I've been so focused on my other hobbies that I don't realize when half of this stuff releases anymore. Thanks for sharing all of the links!

I feel the same way lol! For a while the movie was pulled out from my theater, but after about a week or two it was moved to another theater which was a cheaper movie theater like about three dollars per ticket I think. I've already watched the movie three times and I can't get tired of, although I feel sorry for my parents since I practically drag them to see it! Lol!

Ooooh, lithos would be exciting! My fingeres are crossed. It would be the first for a LA film, and there've been a lot of firsts for this LA film, so please, please, please :)

Cinderella will be out in August. No LE releases with it. Though we might get lithos.

How do you know?

I'm so excited. I really want lithos. As I said before, the swing, the transformation of the dress, the wedding kiss and back of her dress running out of the palace would be amazing! Please listen Disney Store!

Some lithographs would be great! After getting the LE doll, I think its entirely possible. This makes me wonder if this is how they will handle all future LA fairy tale films like Beauty and the Beast and Mulan.

I'm trying to see it as a positive. They seem to be pushing it as close to a holiday release as possible, so maybe we'll see some special merch. I'd heard a rumor it was getting a late release, but I wanted to deny it as long as possible. Oh well, at least we know I guess...

A cast member told me but he seems to have been mistaken or the Bluray got pushed back lol

So this is weird everyone. The Cinderella FB page just posted that the movie is coming out September 15, but I just checked the DS page again and they are still saying September 22.

What?

The late release is disappointing, but at least we are getting an additional 12 minutes added to the film! I am not sure how many of you know this, but there were several scenes that were completed that were cut out of the theatrical release. You seen some of them in the trailer, like the "Then WAKE UP" scene. I know there is a list of scenes that were cut, as several members of the press got to view these scenes at select screenings, but I don't know all of the details as to what they were or why they were cut in the first place. I do know that one scene involved the Fairy Godmother telling Ella that the slippers would remain after the spell was broken, so she would always be reminded that her night at the ball was real and not a dream.

I wanted Disney to create a version of the film that had all of these cut scenes people were talking about, but I never actually thought they would do it! I think this is really exciting stuff even with the late release date!

Wow, a recut would be fantastic and totally worth the wait. It's going to be a recut and not deleted scenes as a bonus feature, right? Not sure I understood correctly. I hope the digital copy is recut, too!

And we just lost a week of waiting time, lol.

I may have spoken a little too soon. According to Stitch Kingdom, all of the scenes will be deleted scenes that will be exclusive additions to the DMA version of the film. So I think they are just deleted scenes and it isn't a recut, which is REALLY disappointing. Sorry for that bit of pre-mature misinformation. At least we will be getting some of the scenes to watch by themselves with an introduction by Kenneth Branagh.

Again sorry for the misinformation. I was wanting a recut of the film so badly that I spoke a little too soon. This does make the extra long wait a little more confusing though. Why wait all of that time to release the Blu-ray that late in the year?

What's DMA? & I will rip the bluray and add the deleted scenes in if I have to. I did it with Titanic. Turned a 3 hr movie into almost 4 hour movie :O lol
