And the original:

There's also a bunch of cool Disney renditions of this painting! Just a quick "Nighthawks Disney" search and you can see them all.

And holey moley, those sketch pins are awesome! Thank you so much for finding those. And I love the "this is not a pipe" painting - and the pin!

Also, have a wonderful trip!

I have a couple to add here :) and I know I have more... Just gotta dig in my pin room <3

first is Pinpics #27855; Disney Auctions - Masterpiece Series #2 (Dwarf Dance)

A tribute to Henri Matisse's vivid 1910 oil painting "Dance"

More to come soon <3

I forgot if someone had already posted this, but this painting reminds me of another pin!

pin64620

(And I could swear that there is another painting which is even more similar to the pin, but I just can't remember it now!)

There must be more DA100 Masterpiece pins out there, because this grouping doesn't have Vitruvian Stitch...

Whoops! You're absolutely correct. I forgot to include series #4! (Which has two of my more coveted pins - Belle and Sebastian!)

pin40546

I actually don't think that we've seen Sebastian here yet, but he's based off of Monet's water lilies:

I love seeing these. Thanks for posting the Nightsquawks pin Purplemandms. I'm on the trail of the Donald Duck "Scream" after Edvard Munch. Hoping to get it soon. My first "art pin" acquisition.
Happy pin collecting to all.

weren't there also the kiss by gustave klimt with snow white and also seurat's afternoon on the island of la grande jatte with dalmatians? i don't have photos to post but i have seen the pins. oops, meant this as a reply to the masterpiece posts.

Yes! Although I think they were made a little differently than the masterpiece pins. (Post #65 has the Kiss, I'll have to check again for the La Grande Jatte. There are several plays on that painting!)

I know this is a bit of old news, but the newest DSF event is a celebration of all things artsy, so of course there are some cool art-themed pins for sale!

I love the variety of characters featured! Does anyone have a particular favorite?

For those of you who do not know, Epcot is having its first ever "International Festival or the Arts", a celebration of well, ART! Featuring some of this cool merch:

Additionally, the prizes for the Scavenger hunt are magnets of Figment in various Artistic Masterpieces (including the above Mona Lisa)! Super awesome prizes!

New artsy pins have been found! (And they're all Donald!)

One is a prototype of a Masterpiece pin which I assume was never released

pin33688

Pin 33688 Disney Auctions - Masterpiece Series (Boating Ducks) Black Prototype

Which is based off of Manet's "Boating":

And then we have two more of Donald getting artsy:

pin42438

Pin 42438 Disney Catalog - Donald Van Gogh

(Even though the title is "Donald Van Gogh", the portrait Donald seems to be painting doesn't look like a Van Gogh... but the painting does look familiar. Any help?)

pin55565

Pin 55565 Painter Series - Donald Duck
(This one may already be on here? I'm not sure if we've covered the painter series.)

Here are two new pins that I stumbled across (we may have included them in other sets, but I don't remember mentioning them individually)

Pin 35651 Disney Auctions - Masterpiece Series #3 (Pluto)

pin35651

Which is based off of "The Basket of Apples" by Paul Cézanne

And Pin 45983 Disney Auctions - Masterpiece Series 2006 ( Donald Duck & Pluto)

pin45983

Which is based off of "The Sleeping Gypsy" by Henri Rousseau
