I love how she looks more out of the case. But I know me, and I'd never take them out LOL.

It's a small nitpick about the ripped dress not matching the scene, but remember they didn't make Hans in his long coat in the last series (and really it should have been Anna) so they stretched with this one too, but it looks good. All the others are scene accurate.

I also wonder now if part of the reason they made a ripped dress version for the Designer Collection is that they will make an unripped version whenever they get to her next 17 inch doll. So this will make it more unique. Obviously the dress design will be totally different, but I think when the time comes the next 17 inch will be pink and people would probably prefer her dress not be ripped.

I live the blue dress cinderella's hair color a tad better than the other doll. I think it's just the right color. But I think in the movie, the hair color does change between the outfits.

did you try swapping the dresses?

Also, what's your flickr handle again?

Everyone (including myself) made such a big deal about this Cinderella's hair being so movie accurate, but looking at these pictures, I'm realizing the last Cinderella's hair was also pretty spot on. However, the face on this latest doll looks more like she does in the film, so I think that too adds to the overall impression.

Part of me would like to have a version of Cinderella in her pink dress that is not torn (a 17" doll would be awesome), but being that this is the villain set, it makes perfect sense that she look so dejected. I think this is the one set in the entire series where the hero and villain actually look at odds with one another.

I LOVE that blue Cinderella I've been meaning to get her. I like the pink dress but I'm just not feeling the need factor on her... If someone were to give her to me I'd gladly accept her but I just can't see myself buying her. /:

Oh gosh no! La Alice is still in stock, not to mention the designer villains and fairytale couples that went on clearance. The brave two pack took monnnnnnths to sell too.

I actually decided to pass on getting the Cinderella/Tremaine doll set because of the ripped dress. After seeing them in person, there was NO way I was going to buy a doll will a ripped dress for that price. The set just looks messy, and technically she shouldn't even have her necklace on if they are trying to be movie accurate. Disney really messed this one up. They should have left the dress alone. Lady Tremaine holding the necklace would have been just fine.

Does anybody where the additional merch for this collection is? like the journals, mugs and lithographs, I very rarely buy the dolls I just tend to get the merch with the gorgeous art work on.

They didnt make any this year..i heard it is because of the poor sales of last years designer merchandise.

Oh dear! Has this bern conformed by the disney store, id br so sad if it were true!

It hasn't been formally announced by them or anything, but cast members have confirmed the rumors it seems. Plus if we were getting merch, then we would have gotten it by now. A lot of the designer merch for last year's wave wen't on clearance, which is always a big no-no for Disney, so they didn't bother making any for this wave. It stinks because the artwork is amazing this year and I really wanted the Cinderella and Alice stuff.

Would anyone be willing to scan the artwork from the sets online or something? If Disney isn't going to give us merch this year, then I at least want to be able to print off the artwork and make my own custom lithographs and maybe even mugs (the latter could be made through a website like Zazzle or something).

On another note, whose excited for the Belle and Gaston set coming out next week? I really wanna see how well it does when compared to Cindy and Tremaine. Meanwhile, i'm just sitting here anxiously waitng for the Alice and Queen of Hearts set. I just want it to be October 4th already!

Yes, and some are missing THE CAT!

Oh wow! My Lady Tremaine arrived with a broken ear, she had a hole underneath her earring so she's going back. Manage to get another one at my local store but after looking through a couple of them. Is upsetting they cost so much and they all seem to have something wrong with them. I don't expect perfection but at least some quality control. Last year my Hag dress wasn't sewn right so it looked like it was ripped, then my Mother Gothel was missing paint on her eye lid but was able to fix it. :nono::nono:

I hope everyone who got an incomplete doll (does Disney even know what quality control is??) calls them up and demands at least a partial refund! Just like when everyone discovered 17" Cinderella's shoes had reacted with the metal stand.

I'm really pleased with how movie accurate the new Cinderella's face is. I've been having to cut back on dolls ridiculously (and sell a good chunk of my collection :,) ), but I'm really hoping to scrape up the funds to get Belle and Gaston.

So Alice is now 59.99$ with that Bonus40 code and I am now wondering if the same may happen to this new Cinderella doll? There are a bunch of limited edition stuff going on clearance (including art work) and even the limited edition Star Wars figurine are 40% off. Did any of the limited edition dolls that went on sale in the past go this low?
