Not only do I collect pins but I also have a huge collection of disney snow globes. I used to love walking down main street as a little girl and seeing them in the windows. I miss that! Does anyone else collect them?

Oh, man, we have some REALLY cool snow globes from when Disney put a lot of effort and creativity into them. I mean, some of them are just astounding in terms of detail and design.

I'm bummed they don't make them much anymore.

What are some of the ones you have?

I would love to collect snowglobes but don't really have the room to display them. Every time I see one, I think about it but I know it would just sit in the box.

Which ones do you have? I'd love to see photos.

I told my hubby the story of wanting snow globes as a little girl but never got one, so he gave me one every christmas for 10 years or so. I have a princess one that is gorgeous and cinderella's castle is tall, alices tea party, winnie the pooh that opens and closes, these are a fewl!!!
Which ones do you have? Do you have a favorite, since I love alice that's my favorite!

I am trying to figure out how to post them! They are harder to collect then pins LOL, I saved all the boxes to move them and they take up 3 large boxes!!!

Ok, here's one...a really fabulous Donald Duck snowglobe. Look at all the wonderful detail in this!

This one also plays music via a wind-up music box in the base.

Cool, thanks for the link!

Here's another, this one from 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. It kills me how much damage this one has suffered. The front / top and back of the Nautilus have broken off. There's an entire person missing (broken off at the ankles) from the left side. Ugh. When it was new and intact, it was pretty fantastic...

Oh!! My mom collected the snow globes for years before they essentially stopped selling them.

She has quite a few of the classics - Hercules, Mulan, Beauty and the Beast...

My Mom use to collect them and has about 10 of them. The coolest one I think she has is Captain Hook's Ships. She use to display them but then she got tired of dusting them all the time because they collected a lot of dust so she boxed them all up and put them in the basement.

The top one plays the Donald Duck Theme
The 20,000 Leagues one plays Bach's Toccata in D Minor
The Seven Dwarfs mine plays Whistle While You Work

I'll post the music with each other one I post moving forward :)

Thanks, that is so great.

Those three snow globes are great! I really do love the detail in them- especially the 20,000 leagues one.
I have a few myself but my all-time favorite is the Daughters of Trident one. It plays... well... Daughters of Trident! And lights up. It's just so rare to find merchandise of Ariel and her sisters.

Those are lovely! I had two, an Ariel on similar to the Daughters of Triton globe. Execept it was Ariel in the largest globe. Flanked by various fish in smaller globes. It played Under the Sea. My other one was a Tarzan one.

Silly Symphonies snowglobe. Really beautiful!

Description from some other site:

Made in 2004 to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of Walt Disney's "Silly Symphonies". It is made of resin, glass and wood and comes with a certificate of authenticity. This snowglobe features the "Lullaby Land" moon and several of the series' memorable characters:
- Abner Mouse, from ''The Country Cousin''
- the ginger-snappy hero of "The Cookie Carnival"
- friendly bunnies from "The Tortoise and the Hare"
- Little Hiawatha
- the Big Bad Wolf from "Three Little Pigs."
- a shimmery starfish trails the wooden shoe boat of "Wynken, Blynken and Nod"
- Elmer Elephant and Tillie Tiger
- and the Flying Mouse stands atop the sail.

This one doesn't have a musical component.

My wife has a bunch of the Disney snow globes. I'll have to take some pictures of them and post them here.
