I just recently started collecting these after randomly coming across the Duck Tales series in Toys R about a month ago. I originally was only to going to go after the Darkwing Duck related figures, but after seeing how extensive the collection is, I couldn't resist collecting the rest of the Disney key rings. I saw that there was one or two other topics for specific series in the past, but figured I'd start a general discussion topic for them. I was originally going to start this topic yesterday but did not have enough time. Lucky I waited too, as Monogram Direct's website updated today with a lot of new series today! Below is a link to the website, as well as a list of all current available Disney key rings. There are also Marvel and various other properties available, though for now I will only include the Disney key rings in the list below. Feel free to discuss anything about the line!

There is actually another thread somewhere on this forum for these things, but of course I can't find it now. :)

And whereas I think that one is just a trading thread, this one is much more informative! I had never heard of the Monogram International website until now.

Series 11 is gonna KILL me. These things are so darn addictive.

Here's a picture of my collection so far:

Anyone else have pictures of their collection? I'd LOVE to see some storage/display ideas!

Those cats!!!!!! I haven't seen them before. Do they have the Aristocats too?

Not that I've seen. And these are all from different series - Figaro is from the new Series 10. Dinah is from the Alice in Wonderland series. And Lucifer and Si/Am are from two different villain series. They're not making it easy on us cat lovers!

UGHHHHHHHHHH!! That's insane. Pins are enough! But...those cats....! They work so well for this style of design.

I did see the trade thread posted, though I figured that a general information/discussion thread would be good in this forum. I'm going to keep the first post updated as new waves are revealed and released.

Yeah, I've been working on competing the older waves and it just hit me a few days ago how many of these I've bought in the 3 months since I got my first ones.

I'll be moving in the next month or two, so I currently don't have them displayed. I'm thinking of figuring out a way to display them as if they're lined up in a parade, but it'll be awhile before I can start working on that. I'll post some pictures this weekend of what I've got so far.

Updating the first post as Series 10 and the Stitch waves have been out for a few weeks now. I also found the Beauty and the Beast wave at Hot Topic yesterday! The new versions of Lumiere, Mrs. Potts and Chip are all much better than their previous versions. Mrs. Potts and Chip are actually the same general shape this time, instead of Mrs. Potts being flat.

I actually found a couple boxes at Tuesday Morning the other day with little individual cubbies - They are PERFECT for these keychains!

I'll take a picture tomorrow. :)

I found a tie rack at Target with four bars going across. We have about 40 hanging and still have room for more. My kids love these!

Ouch. When I posted the original thread there weren't 10+ series at the time and I assumed more people would contribute as they saw fit, not just for trading, but upcoming and available releases as well. Funny how things like that never seem to work out as planned.

I, too, prefer the kitty characters. ;)

I was able to trade for the Si&Am. A good friend zapped me the Mochi keychain. I lucked out and actually picked the bag containing Cheshire.

The Lucifer is a odd tale. I had bought several other Villain bags in search of him and had no luck. One day at BAM, I saw a display box for the villains and decided to give it one more go. As I approached the display, I noticed one of the bags had been opened then left in the display. Not being able to help myself, I peeked inside and lo' and behold it was Lucifer! When I went to checkout, the sales clerk became really pissy and told me I was old enough to know better than to open blind bags before purchasing and that she had the right not to sell me that bag. It quickly escalated into a large argument because I was affronted at the accusation and told her she could go check the security tape and THEN I'd accept her heartfelt apologize for making false accusations. The manager appeared and just told her to finish the transaction. If Lucifer wasn't my absolute favorite characters, I think I might've left without him.

Aw. I didn't mean to bash your post or make you unhappy. :( I was just trying to be positive and bring up the usefulness of both threads.

Do you need a Figaro? I wound up with an extra. :)

Oh, wow, thank you so much for the offer. I was able to find Figaro elsewhere.

I'm both excited and horrified at the prospect of Aristocats keychains, LOL! I think it'd be easier if they released them as an entire set but I could be wrong.

Anyone have any guesses/hopes for what Series 11 will contain? :x:

Argh, I saw these at Hot Topic a few days ago and mostly just really really want coronation Elsa. (and okay, I love a bunch of the others, like all those CATS! but...I want Elsa:p) But I didn't trust myself to try and guess which bag(s) might be her. Any tips?:p My Hot Topic's bags seem to have some kind of cardboard thing or something in them that makes it hard to feel through the bag, haha.

I really love these, so cute! I've been looking for the series 10 classic characters as I love almost all of the ones in that pack, but especially love Donald, Chip, and Dale. Drove around today and was only able to find the Finding Dory packs and the series 1 princesses with Mickey and Minnie. Anybody know if there's a place to buy them from people with duplicates for a decent price? I don't have any to trade and on ebay I found a decent price on a Donald Duck one only for them to charge $15 to ship it to Canada from the US.

I've had a lot of luck in the Facebook group "Figural Keychains and Collectibles BST." Lots of nice people and fair prices. :)

Thanks! I appreciate it :) I know I had seen them at Party City a couple weeks ago but when I went earlier today they didn't have them anymore. Should have gotten them when I saw them!

They also sell them at Walmart, Hot Topic, Box Lunch, and occasionally Michaels. (Not sure which of those stores are also in Canada.) Good luck! :)

Oh I couldn't find them on Walmart online, so I didn't bother, but it's right across the street from the Party City. And I didn't know that about Michael's- I need to go there soon anyways so I'll check it out. Thanks so much, I'll go hunting again tomorrow :)

No guarantee... my Michael's used to sell them but stopped after people were ripping open each bag to check which character it was. :(

If you go to Walmart, check near the front where the collectible cards (baseball, Pokémon, Magic, etc.) are sold.

Yeah I managed to get to Michael's because I needed more yarn for a project, and they had the Tsum Tsum figural keyrings and the stackable mystery packs, but no series 10. Haven't gone to Walmart yet but I might check it out today depending on how busy it is. If not I'll suck it up and buy the one off eBay as they said they do combined shipping. Seeing as they're $7-$9 here, I might end up paying over $25 anyways to get the ones I want. Thanks for the suggestions though, I appreciate it! And if there are new series in the future that I like it might be good to know where to get them. Speaking of, if anybody wants any packs of the series 1 princesses, Tinker Bell, and Mickey and Minnie, let me know 'cause Party City had a huge box of them. Dunno how hard they are to find if they routinely switch to newer series, but if someone is looking then I don't mind picking up a few packs (it's next to the liquor store so it gives me an excuse to fuel my weekend wine runs haha).
