2017 PTD Discussion Thread - UPDATED 11/28/17
For me, it's strictly that there are still five more pins that were previewed last August that still haven't come out yet. I am (not so patiently) waiting for Gideon, and many others are waiting for Armored Baymax. This past year has been a real yawn with respect to Cats with Ice Cream (what I'm looking for). Not a one, except the rumored Gideon...

I notice that most characters have only been on one ptd and that usually the only multiple characters are the popular ones, for the most part. What cat characters haven't been done as ptds? I think Rufus doesn't have his own, just one he shares with Penny. Maybe there should be a second Marie or Figaro since they are pretty popular. (I have a small collection of cat pins but none of them are ptds)

I don't use (well, I do my best not to but it's getting harder and harder these days) monetary value when trading pins, but I think Merlin and Watzshakinbacon both hit the nail on the head. 1) all three are kind of fringe characters-- Alice in Wonderland is popular, but tbh I wasn't aware there was a hedgehog in it, and I've seen that movie at least a dozen times (mostly as a kid). I didn't even realize Home on the Range was a Disney movie... so, I have no interest in these pins, not bc I don't think the artwork is lovely--it is-- but bc these are not characters I collect so I don't want the pins. Nor are they characters that most other ppl collect, so I don't want them as traders either, bc far fewer ppl will be interested in them.
Dogs, cats, villains, princesses, cute animals, popular characters in popular movies-- that's what most ppl like and that is what makes people want to buy the PTDs-- bc even if you don't collect that particular character or genre, you can trade it for a pin you do want.

Madame Mim as a cat
Mufasa
Adult Nala
Simba's mom
Gideon (coming soon)
Sabor from Tarzan
Cave of Wonders
Mirage (Aladdin)
Sgt. Tibbs
Ivan (Peter and the Wolf)
Lambert
King Leonidas
Flying Leopards (Elena)

I'm sure there are more...

No, Madame Medusa from The Rescuers

Do you mean Madam Mim?

Madame Medusa has not had a PTD. The only Rescuers PTDs so far have been Bianca, Bernard, Penny/Rufus, and Deacon Owl.

Madam Mim has had one PTD, but I'm hoping they release more of her in her transformations.

Maybe you're thinking of the Rhino Guard or the Church Mice, who came out close to this release?

Deacon Owl is one of the Swamp Folk that help rescue Penny from Madame Medusa.

Yes! The Rescuers was one of my first Disney movies and I loved how over the top Madame Medusa was. Her pet alligators Nero and Brutus would be good PTDs too. Actually, this movie has a lot of fun side characters like Evinrude, or Rufus the cat for PTD inspiration.

Ooh good one! I could totally see her with this pose for a PTD:

This Croquet scene. The balls were Hedgehogs. :)

There's this cool new thing called "Google." You can instantly search for pictures on it. :l

Rude much? Counselor's post was obviously meant to have a picture and I just pointed out that there was none. I know what scene it was.
