HELP! Need advice on backs!

Hey all! So here's my question...I finally traded with some serious traders at a trade gathering. I managed to get a few wdi pins. Problem is, though they're somewhat elaborate, the mickey sorcerer hats don't go all the way to the edge. Do the wdi pins have that effect? Are they the same as the other disney pins? I based my trading on where I was, the fact that it was at Disneyland area & I had signed up for it. Why would avid traders have fakes? I am so confused. I didn't realise this until now. A long time after getting them. Please help!

The Sorcerer Hats on the back of WDI always have a border/edge.
But WDI pins can be faked and are often sold cheaply on ebay from China, post some pictures of your pins and people can give advice.

Thank you! I needed that advice! Now I know they're okay. They were gotten at a trade meeting. I'm pretty sure this person was legit. Was in the original packaging with disney sticker that had serial number that matched pinpics. I just didn't know wdi pins didn't go to the edge. Thank you!!!!

Review the scraper help pages. Geoff made a very good page you can print. Done if us used to hand them out to new traders but not seen that in a while.

I cannot figure out how to add a picture. I've tried & tried. I can't seem to get one. Tried for all this time! So I looked at Geoff post & sheet. It says all pins with sorcerer hats go all the way to the edge. No border so now I'm VERY confused.

I think you have to be a member for a while and make a certain number of posts before you can add pictures . As for borders some genuine pins don't go all the way to the edges , Disneys QC has gone down in recent years , but most do . Which specific pin (PP Number) do you have questions about ?
