2017 PTD Discussion Thread - UPDATED 11/28/17
Nope, they still haven't released the last set in the alphabet. I'm anxiously awaiting it too, since two of the pins are for my collections (X for Fix-It Felix and Z for Zazu), and I'm really curious as to who will be on the XYZ pin (my guess is Zeus, with XYZ as a lightning bolt), which will hopefully pair nicely with the Cheshire Cat ABC I've been holding onto until XYZ is released.

I happened to still have this saved on my comp (not my photo), but it was one of the previews from last year. So yep, Zeus indeed!
 
I did (that's how I knew X was Fix-It Felix, since it's different than the poster that has most of the same designs), but I forgot what XYZ was; I guess it lodged itself in my brain anyway! ;)

And also, I legit thought you were posting a photo of it released in the store and I was getting ready to head down tonight until I realized that it was just the preview photo. XD They need to pop this out already! I'm itching for a new Felix pin.
 
If it's true that the Zarina/Scott/Phoebus set was force flipped, it took them 23 days to do so. Tomorrow is day 23 since the last flip. Take that for what you will.

If I were not collecting this whole set, you could have mine :) Not sure what I do with a full set of new in package alpha pins, but once its out I will have the set ...
 
They're kind of in a bind for X, though. They're stuck with either XR or Xerxes (both of which are from 90's tv shows that not many people nowadays would recognize, let alone collect). Fix-it Felix changes things up, and is a recognizable character. And while his name doesn't start with x, it does have two x's in it.

I will give you that it does look a bit out of place compared with the rest of the set, since it's the only one with a full-bodied character outside of the letter instead of the letter itself decorated to look like him.

Well, guess I can wait until tomorrow's release to go down! Gonna get that Doli to stay complete on the Black Cauldron PTDs.
 
So now we have all of Ariel's sisters but no Flounder or Flotsam and Jetsam. Hope we can get some more popular characters soon. This set should last two months.
 
I don't usually mind slightly off colors on PTDs, but they made Doli GREY. I have no idea how peach skin tone with a light grey beard on the flyer translated to dark grey skin tone with a dull tan beard on the pin in the factory. :/ I would have asked to return it if I didn't need it to keep my collection complete.

Attina did on Monday during the Baymax PTD special release. DSF is also giving away free gifts with PTD purchase today, so another one may sell out sometime soon.
