Does anybody know if they started to sell the mystery box sets again. I know that they were pulled off the shelves the first night.
 
They were pulled due to too many complaints that the boxes weren't mixed and people were getting many boxes of the same two pins. I kind of wish I had purchased more boxes!

I've heard conflicting accounts on Facebook about whether they will be re-released or if they've been pulled for good.
 
I saw one person say, two days ago, that they were selling them again. (They were looking for a specific character)But I don't remember which FB group it was in and I couldn't find any confirmation.
 
I have it confirmed that they were definitely purchased at last Sunday's party even though Guest Services still insists that they are not available for sale again. Almost wonder if the SKU was changed after the mix-up.
 
WANTED: if anyone is going to the Halloween Party am looking for 2 of the mystery set pins am looking for the Stitch one, we went to the party and the day we went they had been pulled, if gotten any extras please PM me
 
I am hoping to get some if they are back in the parks by the time I go. Where was the news about them being pulled? Curious what happened. Also anyone know about the Hocus Pocus merch and why they were recalled?

Not sure if there was any news about the mystery pins being pulled. I was at the party the first night and learned directly from a manager that they were pulled due to poor distribution of the pins. People would buy 10 boxes and get the same pins in every box. Needless to say, they were not happy and a lot of people complained. Also, after calling Guest Services, it as learned that they would take returns on them if you wanted a refund.

As far as the Hocus Pocus merchandise, Ethan has the best explanation I've seen so far. Regardless of the reason, none of that merchandise will ever be sold according to Disney.
