I got the result of "Hawkeye isn't an option so I don't care." :D

But really, I took the quiz at DCA when they had it for Summer of Heroes, and I got Captain America/Honor.

I did it everyone! I convinced myself I didn't need an Ariel Acme pin! Of course, it helps you have to buy the whole set to get the one character, but...

I go offline for one day. ONE. DAY. (Ironically, I went to Disneyland yesterday.) I come back to my wants list having grown by EIGHTEEN PINS.

Disney, why do you hate me? What did I do? Twelve new HK tea cup pins last week. Eighteen new pins this week. Should I quit before anything happens next week?

I can't even...
 
these alice pins are gorgeous! so on the framed portrait, it's alice, queen of hearts, tweedles, white rabbit, mad hatter and is that hedgehog or dormouse? just love these. i just signed up for the park pack this week. can someone tell me whether i will receive this set or the next one? i actually called ds and they were not sure. all they told me is that it will ship by the end of the month. they seemed clueless. i don't even know what the previous park pack sets for version 3 have been. regardless, this set is really really nice. thank you to all who posted these beautiful pics : )
 
It appears as if you will be starting with the October subscription. I wouldn't be surprised if the leftover pins from September appear in the parks. What do you think?
 
I got these two sets and looking to trade for other pins. I have the Cheshire, Twins and the Alice up for trade.

thanks for the reply : ) so when you say the leftover pins from september, was there a previous park pack box last month? if so what was it? or do you mean the alice pins? sorry, just a little confused on this : ) i am actually really excited about this subscription based on these pins. it will be interesting to see what follows in the coming months.
 
This box of Alice in Wonderland pins was the September box. It was the first Park Pack 3.0 box. The original park pack was two upcoming park OE pins (so the park pack people would get them first and then they'd be sold in the parks a few months later) and one LE pin that had four variants; the second park pack box was three random current park OE pins. This version is three LE pins that each have six variants and are related to each other in some way.

People who signed up after the Alice box was sent out will have their subscription start with box 2 (the October box), which will be a completely new set of pins.

And character number 6 is Hedgehog. The only tea party character in the set is Mad Hatter (unless you count Alice as well).


I'm not sure that the leftover Septembers will make it to the parks. I don't recall leftover park pack LE pins being sold at the parks during the first park pack run, at least, and the box is advertised that the subscription is the only way to get the pins. I'll be pleasantly surprised if they do show up there, though.
 
I traded for a couple of the first series of Park Pack pins from the boards at LIAA. I think that is where any leftover pins are headed. Event Trading boards, and possibly very high level managers who wear pin lanyards when they are in the parks who get to choose from the good pins. They won't be available for sale anywhere.

thank you, this info is really helpful and makes sense. guess i will have to track the alice pins down on the secondary market but look forward to the next monthly box. hope it is as awesome as this set : )
 
Just noticed that there are no backer cards. Miss the prettyPark Pack cards. Also, the boxes appear random. I got the silver tweedles and a silver Cheshire, while other got the tweedles with a different Cheshire.

I received my park pack today (Yay!) but i am confused by my Cheshire. When I look at most of the photos posted, the head looks like a normal pin-on-pin. But my head is separated a bit from the primary pins as shown in the side photo below. I am thinking it might be a defect, but when i look closely at the other teal photo, it looks like that one might be separated a bit as well. Can anyone with the teal Cheshire confirm if it is flat or raised up?

I think Cheshies head is a spinner. I've seen them in a few different positions. Which would explain why it's raided. :)
