2017 Pin Releases
I think Cheshies head is a spinner. I've seen them in a few different positions. Which would explain why it's raided. :)

Ah. That would explain it. And it does look like it can rotate on the stem. Glad I don't have a defect! But I have seen a green one where the head is bolted down. So I am wondering if only the teal (or certain ones) spin and others don't.

Ours came in yesterday, they're 2/4/1 pretty cool looking pins, I wish I had got the Mad Hatter or Alice for the middle, the painted flower frame is very pretty though.

I received my park pack today (Yay!) but i am confused by my Cheshire. When I look at most of the photos posted, the head looks like a normal pin-on-pin. But my head is separated a bit from the primary pins as shown in the side photo below. I am thinking it might be a defect, but when i look closely at the other teal photo, it looks like that one might be separated a bit as well. Can anyone with the teal Cheshire confirm if it is flat or raised up?
Thanks!

disney pins blog did a video on youtube and he showed his cheshire cat pin and noted that it stood out a lot from the main pin, much more than a typical pin on pin. he didn't mention a spinner but you could check out the video. i think it just posted today on youtube

Thanks! That was very helpful. His looks exactly like mine, so at least confirmation that these are made that way with head significantly above the rest of the pin. But I see that his is also teal/version 1, just like mine. So still wondering if version 1 sticks up but the others don't, which makes for another difference in the variations.

I have the teal Cheshire Cat pin, and the head is on a small spring, so that the head jiggles (but it doesn't spin). I've seen the "spring" element on other pins, but not a lot recently.

Thanks for confirming the match. I've seen a green Cheshire with the head bolted down, so it looks like part of the variation on that pin is head placement in addition to color.

The Alice sets are really cool, but I have a minor quibble about two of them. For the Cheshire Cats, why is Chessie yellow in the yellow pin? In every other pin, he is pink/dark pink. And in the frame pins, why are the flowers not colored in for the Tweedles? It just makes those two pins stick out from the other five pins in their set! I suppose I'm just being picky since I'm not going to collect all 6, but...

I also have the all teal one, #3, and his head is on a spinner.

There’s a group of Us on instagram are trying to co-op this set. I’m hoping it works out since I’m in for head Fish Girl herself! :)

Starting to see DSSH previews on Instagram. Will try to get pics but here's a quick listing.

December: Christmas release and Star Wars release
Paint Box Series: Pascal, Flounder, Meeko, Cheshire
Character Blocks: Winnie the Pooh, Snow White, TLM, Inside Out, Zootopia
Villain Cuties: Prince John, Scar, Shere Khan, Honest John, Bellweather
MORE Disney Cats!

From what I've seen on insta there's nothing for my characters but I'm not holding my breath. DSSH likes to pull the rug out from under us :')

I'm relieved that so far, there's not much I "need." That Dinah pin is not an automatic want, but maybe it will grow on me. But really, did we need another Alice and another White Rabbit PTD???? I'm a Wonderland PTD complete-ist so I'll get them. But REALLY????

Yeah, I'm kinda disappointed in the PTDs. We've seen several of those characters before. Where is my Ping PTD, DSSH?
