I personally can't go (weekday events in Anaheim don't work with my work schedule), but I look forward to hearing all about it from those that do!

Well, I signed up. I'm not buying any of the pins, but I'm taking the chance they will have some pin trading boards like at other events, and that could be worth the $15 depending on what I can pull!

$15 for a rice crispy treat and the "opportunity" to buy pins you can sell on the secondary market for 3X plus what you buy it for. Hmm...might be worth it! lol

Pretty much $15 for a rice krispie treat. Those Aladdin pins won't sell for even 2x the cost.

I think Disney is seeing $$$ in getting guests to pre-pay for various "experiences."

I don't collect Aladdin, so I had no idea. Better be a really good (and big) rice k. treat!

I think the real perk of this is to have plenty of people in one place all trading those Mystery pins--and the hype of having just opened the boxes. That alone is worth $15 to me. XD Also, in the grand scheme of Disney events, $15 is peanuts. XD

Plus pin previews! If nothing else, perhaps they're testing this to see if they can bring back Pin Trading Nights. :D

Either way, I'm def gonna be there. :3

That's a really good point. Maybe people who go will be able to complete their set without having to buy/trade later at jacked up value. I hope all of you who go get your full set at the event! :tigger:

Agree with what Merlin says, especially having so many people in one place for trading is such a great opportunity! And who knows maybe the treat will come with a pin? Like the cocktails in Paris?

I'm going to try to be at the Orlando event! It'll be worth it for that Jafar pin alone. And of course, the trading!

I'm going to the one at WDW too!!! A "PFF" of mine wanted several of the pins and is trying for ALL of the Genie Mystery set!! Since very few traders have Tigger pins, I may as well have fun collecting the set for her. :tigger:

Going to the WDW one tomorrow, I was really hopping for at least one board. However if there nice traders who are actually willing to trade, then it might not be so bad.
