Does anyone know the complete scoop on the Disney Store charity promotion? Picture is from Facebook. In the comments someone said they are $5 with any purchase, and $1 goes to Boys & Girls Club of America. Are there only the three? Can you add all three to one purchase, or do you have to make multiple purchases?

You don't even need to buy something else to purchase these. They're all $5 each. I just got in line (not having shopped for anything else) and asked to buy the pins (which they keep behind the counter like they do for LE pins at the parks). And yeah, it's just those three. They're adorable though! ^^

I forgot to grab photos of all the pins on the racks, but here are the pins I picked up from the runDisney expo this morning - the 10k, half marathon, and double race Gauntlet Challenge medal replica pins for the Super Hero race weekend. There is also a Spider Man 5k medal replica pin and non-medal pins for all races except the Kids Race.

I can swing by the expo and take photos of whatever is left on Saturday.

Any idea of the pricing on the holiday ones with the pale green backing? The ones with the red cards are all on the shopdisney app, but the ones on the green cards aren't. I'm finally going to be at the parks for the first time in YEARS next month, and I'm trying to figure out my pin budget.

Tis the season!

The 35th Epcot lanyards have just shown up in Epcot. Bit late, but it's out.

In the parks now, those pins are $11.99 for all of the styles.

I don't know off hand, but will try to check for you next time I'm there. I'd image they're anywhere from 8.99-11.99. :)

Boo indeed. XD

I think the character that bothers me the most is Goofy (too much hobo, which I know is how he started, but I liked it more when they moved away from that), though Mickey isn't far behind. They're just too exaggerated, and sometimes to an almost Ren and Stimpy level. (pic 1 and 2). Usually it's fine, and I even like it, as the new style allows for a different kind of expression than we've seen from Mickey and Co. (pic 3). But the animation just goes from zero to 100 for the sake of a gross gag and that's just not Mickey to me.

I will admit, though, that I love Donald in the new shorts.

I can agree with you on every one of your points, especially on Goofy. But for me, the new range of expression is so much fun that it trumps the times when they may stretch it too far. I haven't enjoyed the Fab 5 this much in... well, ever!

Oh man, I totally agree it's very Ren and Stimpy!!! I'm really not in love with the new stuff, and I really don't care for the new animation, totally makes them look kind of like crack heads >.>

This is exactly my issue too! I liked Ren and Stimpy as a kid, but Mickey and friends aren't supposed to be Ren and Stimpy, IMO. I also just hate the kind of shows, movies, anything, where everything has to get progressively worse and worse and worse, and then oops it's all fine in the end. The one with the hot dog. I hated that. But then others like the Donald one where they split him into his two personalities? That was funny.
I REALLY like the new Ducktales however. That's a great example of how to update something existing, push some envelopes, but not take it too far!

Actually, I’m ok with the more wild cartoon. I enjoy the outlandishness, it makes it feel less babyish. There was once a Mickey tries to kill himself arch in the comics, so this is pretty tame.

I enjoy most of the new Mickey cartoons. But I don’t like Ren & Stimpy at all.

I do prefer the cartoons when they stay cutesy instead of gross. (And I agree that the new Goofy is by far the grossest character.) I love all the little love stories between Mickey & Minnie.

I also love when they feature other classic Disney characters. For example, the new Halloween episode had a brief scene with Horace Horsecollar, as well as a tiny clip of the Lost Boys from Peter Pan trick or treating in the background.

I really like the new Ducktales as well.
