Today was the Paint Palette release... Flounder, Pascal, Cheshire, Meeko and a surprise Mickey (yay me!)

Per DSSH staff there were 242 people in attendance. Each lottery number could purchase 2 of each design/person.

My experience: pulled number 76. Enjoyed meeting Sami in person (we completed a trade) and spent time chatting with Timeerkat.

Still available for purchase (from past releases) at DSSH were the 5 character pins from the Star Wars Last Jedi pin release, the Star Wars good/evil surprise and the X-Z alphabet pins.

At #153 I could still get everything too so I got my Chessie. Nice mellow release!

Editing to add: I also picked up some more of the Alice park pack pins I needed from friends - so I'm now 7 down - 11 to go!

Was Mickey surprise still available too?

anyone else see the tremendously huge black panther pins?
I did notice them in the second case (by the registers) along with the heart stained glass pins. Unfortunately did not take a close look... was busy with other pin purchases. :)

Even with the 'easy' nature of this release, it seems I still overlook things like gawking at the next pin sets.

Any updates on if the pins sold out during the release or perhaps post release? Or are they still in the store? Am curious to know.

Not sure about today, but all except Mickey were still available as of yesterday afternoon. My guess is that they still are.

Hi, just noticed on a famous auction website that these pins are being counterfeited by known such sellers from Hong Kong. Is it usually this fast?!?

Yes, because that person seems to get stuff from the factory. Which means the scrap leftover when Disney's pins are made. Or they're doing "overruns" from the original molds. Probably at the same time Disney's run is done. This is why they also sometimes have pins for sale BEFORE Disney sells theirs.
