Here's my scavenger hunt pics:
1. Lanyard- I'm not really much of a lanyard wearer so nothing fancy. But with the recent announcement of the event dates this year, I thought I would show what I wore last year. Yes, I like to get the card signed by the artists. My ID on IG isn't pinnerdo for nothing!
2. LE 500: Pin 122651 - DS - December 2017 Park Pack - Sorcerer Mickey - Version 2. Just a couple more months until the park packs are back! I know some folks found them blah, but as someone not near a park, I was really enjoying them. (Side note: This pin is available for trade.)
3. LE 750: Pin 52247 - WDW - Cast Exclusive - Finding Nemo - The Musical - Opening (Side note: This pin is available for trade.)
4. LE 1000: Pin 87132 - NYC New York Stitch in Times Square. Man, I really miss when we had our very own WOD in NYC. (Side note: This pin is available for trade.)
5. LE 2000: Pin 60755 - WDW - The Scoop! - Pirates of the Caribbean (Side note: This pin is available for trade.)
6. Hidden Mickey: Pin 88758 - DLR - 2012 Hidden Mickey Series - Crest Collection - Jack Skellington. (Side note: Yup, you guessed it. But I don't usually like mailing HMs due to cost. But if we could make a trade for several....)
7. Rack pin: Pin 122066 - Flight of Passage - Pandora - The World of Avatar. The last rack pin I bought and the last pin I purchased inside a park, on the last day of my last trip. Man that ride is friggin' awesome.
8. Pin bag- I don't like the newer ones at all. I wish they would go back to the interior design they used to have. The bags are the same size but the pages are smaller now so I don't get as much stuff on them. And I find them harder to get at.
9. Favorite pin: 117163 - Alice in Wonderland 65th Anniversary: Alice Down the Rabbit Hole Box Set. (Second picture.) There was a forum page recently where people posted their favorite pins and, as I said there, I don't really have one I can peg as my favorite. But this one is definitely up there in the competition. First off, I just think it's a beautiful set with the whole falling scene playing out. I also like how it's not just the pin but the box that come together to make the scene. And the whole concept of getting pins in a box and then unfolding the box to use to display the pins. I think that's really creative and interesting. That would be plenty to be one of my favorites, but then add the fact that they had some problems with the plastic that holds the pins to the box and they were tearing so they did a recall and stopped selling them (although continued to sell the pins without the box), resulting in very few being out there, it just puts it over the top for me. (Side note: This pin is absolutely, positively, not even remotely available for trade.)
10. Least favorite pin: Pin 106466 - WDW - Piece of Disney History 2014 - SpectroMagic - Chernabog. It's busted - missing one of the "lights". Plus I decided I didn't really care about this series. (Side Note: This pin is available for trade. But why would you want it?)
