I saw it this past Saturday night. I went in with low expectations because it got very mediocre reviews and, honestly, the movie wasn't my favorite. However, I secretly kind of loved the Broadway production. The sets, costumes, and visual design are stunning! Can't wait to hear what you think of it.

May I tentatively sign up for one of each, please? I know a non-DPFer who collects Frozen, just waiting to hear back if she needs these.

Here is pic of the pins.

The coronation pin is more of a lapel pin than typical trading pin. As a matter of fact, I didn't even realize it was a pin until I got it home and saw the Mickey backer. I got it because when I was buying the logo pin and program at the gift shop after the show, I started talking with the cast member about how annoying the audience around me was. There was couple in the front row very blatantly recording the show on their phones. An usher came down mid-show and asked them to put their phones away. As soon as he walked off, they started filming again. During "Let It Go" another person in the row in front of me started recording. As soon as the lights went up, the usher came right up to her and asked to watch her delete the video she filmed. As I was walking by him, I informed him the couple in the front row continued to film a majority of the first act even after he asked them to stop. When act two started, I noticed the couple in the front row hadn't returned to their seats and didn't come back. The cast member at the gift shop informed me that the couple made a scene and security had to be called to throw them out because they were refusing to delete the content they filmed. She apologized for their rude behavior and slipped the coronation pin into my bag for the trouble.

Thank you so much!! Enjoy the show!! I saw it in its early run in denver and loved it so much. <3

Close ups of pins. The coronation pin is very pretty, but very tiny. Size of a pin back. (Lighting was poor when I took these, will get better & submit to pinpics...)

The coronation pin may have been GWP at the opening show, but were for sale with any other purchase the night I was there. Conflicting information as to if the coronation pin is Limited Release or not. One CM said no, it was regular merch, another said once they are gone they are gone. There is nothing on the card or pin back saying LE or LR.

I also got a stuffed Sven, fridge magnet, program, & ornament.

I really enjoyed the show. We were 3'rd row mezanine, but the mezanine in that theater is really close to the stage, we were able to see actors facial expressions easily. The singing was great, really spectacular effects. I had my doubts as to if the Olaf & Sven puppets would work, but they do.

The only change that really jumped out at me was the "mountain folk" instead of trolls. They were odd, but were supposed to be (their intro music was very different from the rest of the show)...The "troll song" is still in there/the same, and works well.

The only thing I found odd was Elsa had a pants outfit for part of the show - and while yes, YAY! a princess in pants! it was the same bodice style top (and cape) that went with the dress, so it looked strange to me.

I thought all the leads all really nailed it, very emotional performance from Cassie Levy (Elsa).

I want to see it again....

That Elsa pantsuit has been a very hot topic and mostly for the wrong reasons. It looks hideous in photos but in person the Swarovski crystals beaded into shimmered and sparkled which made it a little less hideous. LOL
