What will win you this lovely pin? Something from my Wants list (PinPics: Addicted to Alice Pins). Other Alice or Snow White pins that tickle my fancy. Or really good traders that could help me get something I want. (Hot tip: Alice is my priority, but my Snow collection is still new and has plenty of room to grow.) You are also welcome to bid stuff that Kim wants (she's LittleBird here but still SiuJerkJai on PinPics, and she is my pin twin).

What won't top the leaderboard: Fakes, scrappers, damaged pins, Hidden Mickeys, or anything against forum rules.

By all means, offer anything! I'm realistic about the state of my Wants list, ha, and I also am a big advocate for special pins going to collections they belong in. So if I trade for traders, I'm ok with that. (If anyone does have something from my Wants, of course, that will make it a contest!) But don't be discouraged by a lack of matches ...

And Lucy, I'm sorrryyyyy. Your bid is great ... but I'm so picky about faces, and I realized that this pin isn't on my Wants cuz IDK about Snow's face. Ha. Sowwy.

Hahaha. Just as a general FYI for folks who want to bid on this pin but are dismayed by my Wants list ... when I say I collect "Snow White," my focus is essentially "the women of Snow White." Dwarfs won't get you very far (there are just so MANY of them, haha), but Evil Queen and Hag pins that aren't on my Wants list are worth a shot. I'm still a picky PITA but I also haven't gone through PinPics for the villains as thoroughly as I have for Snow ...

I hemmed. I hawed. I hemmed some more. (I also had a long and largely pointless day yesterday, mostly sitting around the airport with my boss, waiting for our inexplicably delayed flight to Denver for a conference. Woooofffff.) And ... the leaderboard stands.

I HATE flight delays. Especially the way they just keep pushing it by a half hour at the time when they KNOW it is going to be longer. (Telling me we're leaving in a half hour when the incoming plane hasn't even landed yet is total BS.) And how about a bit of advanced planning! Like, seeing that, by the time the issue is resolved, the crew will have flown too much and will need to be replaced, so start it now.

Sorry. Obviously a hot button topic for me. I now return you to your awesome auction in process. :D

Ha ha. To be fair, we got a heads-up of the initial delay. The problem is that we were supposed to depart at 9:40 am, so I woke up at 5 am to ensure I could get ready and out the door to the airport without rushing. At 5:15, when I'd already started sipping my coffee, I got the text saying, "Oh, hi, your 9:40 am flight is now a 12:45 pm flight!" Apparently the inbound flight was coming from Sweden (???) and they took off late for some reason. It was too late to go back to bed, so I did laundry and stuff. But then, because we were now traveling mid-day, when I got dropped off at the airport, there was almost no wait for security, so I was through there and at the gate within about 20 minutes. Yes, I had my laptop and yes, I was not alone ... but I HATE WASTING TIME LIKE THAT. Plus the flight was further delayed (not that they really told us that; we just kept actively looking up the Swedish flight and noticing it was not going to land, deplane, turn over, reboard, and depart again, all in 30 minutes!!!!). We actually took off at about 2 pm. We arrived in Denver in time to sit in rush hour traffic from the airport. Yay. By the time I got into my room, I felt like I had been traveling for days and wanted to take a siesta, but we had dinner plans with colleagues we see once per year. The restaurant/food were fabulous and it was a good time, but I was like PLEASE CAN I GO TO SLEEP NOW???? Oh, and it was 100 degrees. Let's see, can I whine about anything else??? Ha ha ha. I got away with no air travel last year and this year I've had 3 trips in 3 consecutive months and I AM OVER IT ALL.

I too will return to auctioneering now. :D
