Ok. So to amuse me on my surprise drive to WDW today (yay!), what are your unpopular character collections for pins? I collect Frollo. He doesn’t seem to be too popular, over shadowed by Esmeralda.

My most unpopular collection is clown pins - I’m a completist for solo pins of Chuckles from Toy Story!

My character collections, I think are all pretty popular (main ones are Alice in Wonderland, Dumbo, BatB, Frozen, Pluto and Rafiki). Even someone who is pretty unknown like Humphrey the Bear is loved by people who know his existence. So I'm just going to change to "unpopular collection." Which, for me is probably my 4th of July pins. A. They're dated B. They have words all over them and C. They utilize a lot of Fab 5 characters. Actually, the entire "not movie/character based" part of my collection (which is the majority) is pretty unpopular for the same reason.

Hmmm. Probably Great Mouse Detective. It's gained a little more notice in recent years, but when I first started, it was one of those movies that never had pins, and no one really cared to collect it.

Side bar- although they fit in the "popular" category, I get some weird push-back for both Duffy and Jessica sometimes from haters. Jessica because of her sexy aspects, and Duffy because there's a group of Disney fans that feel he's nothing but a build-a-bear cash grab. I guess, since he didn't have a movie first, that makes him different from all the other Disney cash grabs ;)

My main collection is Prince Hans. Being part of frozen means he still has a lot more pins than comparable characters but still not one single OE. my wallet suffers.

I collect Up, that's not very... just kidding. :)

I collected (and still do) Emperor's New Groove and Brother Bear when they were fairly unpopular, but like GMD they have been gaining traction recently.

Not unpopular, per se, but less mainstream characters I collect are Kronk (he gets a lot of love but by himself he's not the most popular guy on a pin) and Burrito from the 3 Caballeros. (If they ever made a Gauchito pin I'd be all over it, but alas.)

I also collect the fab 5, they're kinda unpopular, but only in/on/as the Haunted Mansion.

I collect Mickey mouse and thought it would be impossible to gain pins when I started. Hahaha... How wrong was I.

Star wars' unpopularity always surprises me. I keep thinking, Someday when the multitude of SW fans discover pins... It will be impossible.

Literally everything I collect is "unpopular." Some members of this very forum (who shall remain nameless) don't even know who Figment is!

I have loved figment since I was 14 and went to Epcot the first time. Definitely know that dragon. :)

Some of my PTD collections - Great Mouse Detective, Bolt, and Black Cauldron. Waffles is a pretty obscure collection.

I would say aces, but the majority of those pins are from Alice in Wonderland which is one of the most popular collections.

I don't collect her anymore, but for awhile I was collecting Clarabelle.

And I keep joking that I will make an entire lanyard of Jangles PTDs. ;)

Peg from Lady and the Tramp and Junior from Jungle Book are the unpopular characters I collect.

And Kitchen Kabaret is an unpopular attraction I also collect

Veggie Veggie, Fruit, Fruit!

I have exactly one pin from Kitchen Kabaret, but I love it (ironically, more than I love actual veggies).

It's funny, I'm not sure I remember much else from that show, but that verse certainly wedged itself deep into my brain.

Most of my collections are fairly mainstream - I think the most obscure are probably Ratatouille as it's far from the most popular Pixar film, and Piglet as I collect him solo and he's not as popular as the other Pooh gang characters! I'm also an accidental completist of Frou-Frou the horse from The Aristocats :p However I'd love to start a few more niche collections, like Rainbow Unicorn from Inside Out and Country Bear Jamboree.

Collecting random cats used to be an unpopular collection, but I can't say that anymore!

I collect Emperor's New Groove and Three Caballeros, which are minorly popular. And the Philharmagic ride (many Japan pins, not many US pins).

Surprisingly, Muppet pins aren't all that popular...

No, That is Burrito - and he is the one I collect.

This is Gauchito, the little Gaucho who rides Burrito.

Ah my mistake. All of these are listed online as Gauchito. And now that you mention it that makes more sense since Gauchito would refer little gaucho. Boy do I feel silly now. . Sorry about that, just trying to help.

The only things I have from TGMD are buttons and animation cels (real ones).
