So D23 is the official fan club (really more like a membership thing), and each year they have a big convention, alternating between Anaheim and Orlando. Even as a member, you still have to buy a ticket for the event.
As for the pins, these will be available to all attendees, so not just cast members.

I really want those Oliver pins! Sucks that I can’t go, I’ll have to find them online somewhere later.
Designer pins are here. And they’re tiny. Like, hidden Mickey size almost.
They’re cute and fairy thick, but I wish they were more like the original designers, 2-3 inches and more special effectsy. But for the price not bad.

So I got four boxes of the NMBC Mystery pins from the UK Disney Store today and managed to bag four different ones I love the shiny resin finish on them. It's hard to see in the pic so I included one to try and show it better.

Oh man, I am loving the new artwork of my adopted children that they're using on merch this year. They used this same art on a really nice Lock, Shock and Barrel wallet and purse and I'm sorely, sorely tempted. Hopefully someone will split up one of these awesome boxsets someday and I can get my grubby little hands on these three.

I have little interest in the princesses in general and zero interest in collecting them, but I actually really love these. Using appropriate fashions for the release dates of their films is inspired - I've seen plenty of fan art of them in clothes modeled more after the real-life historical area/time frame that their films supposedly take place in, but never the literal release date of said film. Ariel is particularly awesome, but Cinderella and Snow White are favs as well. I really hope they do more of these.

Thanks, I visited 3 stores last week and none of them had them unfortunately..but will keep trying(Likely to be able to try a few others throughout the week)
Exciting release in the UK!
Wahoo finally the UK gets something, it's not amazing but oh well, I went to pick up my Mickey Memories order from the store and noticed some NBC mystery pin boxes by the till!
I don't collect NBC but brought one to hopefully try and get Disney to release more in store here, they're not even on the shop Disney UK website! (side note this will be for trade/sale as I dont collect NBC) Also, I can try and get more if anyone would like a pick up? My store only had about 6 left but I went near shutting time and I'm sure I'll be able to pick a couple up if I'm quick in the AM!
I ended up with the Mayor of Halloweentown but the photos arent the best, it's all a silhouette theme/series its just my old phone in artificial lighting = poor pic quality!

New Lion King set up at Disneystore.com. The Lion King Pin Set - Limited Edition
Was just coming to post this. I'm torn on whether to get this...the Simba/Mufasa one is gorgeous but not sure if I'm sold on the Just Can't Wait To Be King one. If the background were a different color than orange it would be much better.

Agreed, the orange background on an already very orange foreground was a pretty big design miscalculation, in my opinion. It would have been much more striking if they'd used a more contrasting color. Too bad, because the layout and line work is fantastic.

They both have a variant. The background probably isn't orange on the other set
