DSF/DSSH Live from Hollywood : It's Thor's day
Thor is an underrated superhero, IMO. I don't think his story is as widely known or accepted as ones such as Iron Man or Captain America. I think the fact that they're "gods" may deter some people for religious reasons as well. I'm not quite sure. It definitely hits a different demographic than it's other Marvel counterparts. For me I think the Avenger's popularity meter goes:

1. Iron Man
2. Cap
3. Thor
4. Hulk
5. Hawkeye
6. Black Widow

So if there was a Hulk release, I think it would do more poorly than Thor (not that I see this happening). And if and when they do Cap for the Winter Soldier, I think that release will be a bit less popular than Iron Man but more so than Thor.

Personally, I go gaga for my god of thunder so I don't see how these didn't sell out in ten seconds flat! Lol.

It does't seem like the Thor pins are hugely popular. Why is that?

Live action movie pins in general don't do as well as the animated films. Oz, Lone Ranger, Muppets, even Tron to some degree... those pins were around for a bit.

So does anyone here on this forum have any of the Thor pins for trade. Since theses pin aren't on pinpics yet i can't request them yet. So any help to this marvel comics collector will be great if any one can help me out.

I have big Thor, surprise Avengers, and marquee. Looking for Giselle, Dumbo, Oswald, WDI mystery hats, or Frozen from my wants.

The Marvel pins just honestly are not that popular overall it seems. The original Avengers release goes for a good amount, but not ridiculously high prices when you think of it in the scheme of things and the only reason they go for so much is because by the time pin trading took off, most of those pins weren't in the pin trading community anymore which makes them harder to get. However, as seen by the Ironman 3 release, given they increased the LE size to 400 and now that pin trading is big everyone goes, this release was destined to just do mediocre :)

You just proved his point  Antman is one of the original Avengers that was not in the first movie so they incorporating him into their Phase Two development (or Phase Three now I think...).

I would love to see X-Men pins :) I know, I know, Fox has licensing rights for movies and probably assorted memorabilia, but maybe not pins? One can hope

I believe they are going to allude to him at the end of Phase Two. Well, they kind of have to, considering his involvement with Ultron. But Antman isn't coming out until after the Avengers sequel (Age of Ultron), so that's why I think he will make a brief introductory appearance (or be the after-credits clip or something). I am still at a loss as to how on earth they are going to do Age of Ultron without Hank Pym being like, the main character, but its fine lol. They will figure it out and make it amazing!

They aren't showing Saving Mr. Banks which I REALLY REALLY wanted a marquee for. Sad day when I realized no marquee was coming. That movie will be amazing.

THIS. I dont collect marquees, but I was hoping for a Saving Mr. Banks one. I am looking for the John Carter one, if anyone has any leads on it!

These pins have been added (at least, to the old site, not sure when they will show up on the new site...)

They still have the Thor Logo pin and the Hammer pin if you want those, I can get them at cost for you.

I absolutely love the huge Thor pin. It looks amazing because of it's size and detailing! I'm really glad I came to this release, because this pin is awesome.
