(I accidentally posted this in "anything goes" and thought it would be better suited here...sorry!)

Hello! Matt here! A few of you may know that I work as a manager (of sorts) at a comic book store in San Diego. Just last Friday, we purchased 8 boxes of old Disney comics, including the FIRST Uncle Scrooge. Thought I would share a quick picture of just a sampling of the books we finally processed and I put away today. We have probably about 300 + new Disney books I was able to scrounge through!

I'm glad I already spent all of my money on presents this year, because they sure are tempting!

Any of you out there collect or own any Disney comics?

-Matt

I've always wanted the lion king ones...but other then that I own the original #1 darkwing duck comic and the new reboot of darkwing which is autographed by by the writers and artist!

Cool! I work at Southern California Comics. It's off of Clairemont Mesa Blvd. and Industrial Park Driveway, right off of the 163 freeway. I usually work Monday through Friday.

And if you want that Scrooge McDuck #1, you'll need a few hundred dollars...

As a comic book collector thoses books look like they are in very nice condition and nice buy for your store indeed. Most of the old Disney comics i own are in okay condition even some of my old four color series are in decent shape.

Those comics are nothing comparing to how many I own! I have closets full of them. But my comics are not in very good condition because I read my comics, (nor are they in original language) so obviously these are much more valuable. But I never could collect Disney comics and keep them in plastic, not after reading as a child Don Rosa´s toughs and one story (I do not remember its name) about comic book collectors, I am a huge fan of his. But that first Uncle Scrooge really does seem nice...
