Disney Store Limited Edition 17" Dolls Discussion - 2017
Oh wow, you were right when you said you post about different things that inspire you! I'm glad I can actually read the text :)

Here it is: Postcrossing My Way Across the World : ???̹? ???α?
Oh those Polly Pockets! I love them all! Pocahontas and Sleeping Beauty and Snow White and Hunchback of Notre Dame and so many non Disney ones! Those photos make me want to play with them :)
(I wonder if you have the one I had as a child but as it is non-DisneyI won't talk about it here)

Right right good call. Must keep reminding myself to stay on topic on these forums haha. The Disney Polly Pockets are my absolute favorites. The blues in the Pocahontas! The deep magentas in the Hunchback of Notre Dame! I like how you give little stories to your dolls :) I'm a huge deboxer, so I should take out some of mine and give them more character too!

I love giving my dolls backstories and I have quite a few in store for them :)
Do so! I would be really happy if you would share them, too :) They can 'visit each other' as well :D Sounds like lots of fun! I just remembered I have something similar to the Polly Pockets, a Lion King II. themed one, with a waterfall, Pride Rock, Simba, Nala, Kiara, Kowu and Zazu.
I'm a deboxer as well! (I kept my Frozen minis in the box for a reason I've forgotten :()

I can't wait until you get Regal Elsa! She is still out of my reach and it would be so cool getting to see candid photos from you :) and I know which Lion King set you are talking about, it IS very similar to Polly Pocket.

I am now ready to debox my Snow Gear Anna and took a few shots of her in her original packaging for the last time today. She was my first and I remember being shocked at how big these actually are. It's a wonder how really big collectors make room for all the 17" dolls in their house!

Me, neither, there will be tons of photos of her! In the meantime you can stalk drj1828's gallery of purple Elsa.
It's a very sweet little set, I love it!
Pictures? Please?
I heard they are big but I've never seen one in real life, only pictures. I wondered, too, they sure have some tricks to arrange them so they take up as little space as possible. Maybe they have big houses? (or some of them?)

Of course! I would but I have no clue how to attach an image to one of these posts. Do they have to be a link? No file attachments like with e-mails or blogs?
I didn't find another method so my answer sould be yes, you can insert pictures using links. If you create a Flickr account that's not much trouble at all, I think.

Haha boy do I know about drj1828's Flickr account! To me, she is the end-all-be-all of informative Disney limited edition doll reviews. Her collection is to die for but I think her photo records are even more valuable. Nobody unboxes so many dolls and takes so many detailed photos of them in such high resolution.

Ah, thanks @Meritre and @starry_solo for letting me know :)

Do we have an edition number for Elena? Or better yet, a price? She comes out on Tuesday, and it still seems like we know very little about this release.

The fact that she never had a feature-length film release is probably keeping the hype lower than it could be. Says on the box in her leaked photo that her edition size will be 6,000. So, plenty for those who want her :)

Yes he has everything and he makes such great, detailed pictures! It makes me a bit feel like I own the dolls myself.
I wonder if he'll get Elena tomorrow *hopeful*

I wanted to get in on this thread! I've always collected dolls but got my first Disney doll this year, the Robin Hood and Maid Marian and I ABSOLUTELY adore them <3 Such wonderful dolls and so nice to see under appreciated characters! <3 My boyfriend loved them so much he bought his own haha!

Hyped for Elena tomorrow, and so glad that both the stores near me are selling her!!! Not expecting there to be a huge crowd, though. I'll be going first thing in the morning to pick her up, then it's off to go see Justice League, so I won't be back until later in the day. I promise I'll post pics, though!

He'll get it in person and possibly order a second to keep in the box online.

I've met him a few times. He's very nice! :)

Does anyone know if the Frozen 17 inch dolls are coming out tomorrow? For Olaf’s adventure

Haha uh oh. It seems I got his gender wrong. Is drj1828 a he? I feel terrible now for assuming the go-to photography expert on these dolls is female. Especially when all the YouTubers I watch who review the LE Disney dolls are guys!

It's great to see your boyfriend is so accepting of this hobby :) Sometimes I hesitate to tell people I collect Disney dolls and vintage toys, but that level of support would give me so much more confidence in collecting.

I feel so silly having referred to him as a her now. I wonder if he knows how much of a reference point his Flickr account is for Disney doll collectors. The photos are just breathtaking.

Someone needs to teach me how to quote multiple posts in one post so that I can stop spamming the group. I just want to reply to everyone!

Some photos would be much appreciated :) I was going to wait for some reviews before making a purchase decision.
