It took two years to collect them and another to build the display but showed them on PinPics and they received good reviews so thought I would share them here as well.

The display case is amazing. I love how you can light the collection to really see the scenes. Congrats on the collection.
 
I love it. How did you get a shadow box with a light?
I mounted the board in the middle of the box depth. I painted the inside of the back half flat white. I mounted strings of LEDs on the back of the mounting board, between the pins, so the light is reflected and just to make sure there were no hot spots I used theatrical diffusion behind the cutout. The whole thing runs on 12vdc from a power supply plugged into the wall, OR a 9 volt battery that will keep it working for 30 hours straight. Some of my trader friends suggested I build them and sell them. I said they could not afford my time.
