Year in Review: 2017 -- My First Year of Pin Collecting!

I wanted to post this on my 1 year DPF anniversary, but it was a busy day hehe
I've pretty much gone from like.. less than a handful to a few hundred pins this year, and I'm pretty happy with how the collections have been going
If you wanna see it all in one go: 2017 pin year in review
pretty much my whole collection. I posted the board previously when I first made it. It's about 3' x 4'.
Top row are pins that remind me of my childhood but that I don’t have entire collections for. The left ear/ side of Mickey is for me (mechanical engineering, bowling, foxes, pigs). The right side is for my bf (dj, clarinet, puns, genie). Mickey head is for my tiny PTD collection.
Most of my Belle/ BatB collection. I decided to slow down on this since many of her poses look the same. def still have some grails I’d like to get someday though! Favorites are prob the Paris jumbo, the Art of Belle set, and the 2 storybook pins.
Here’s my dumbo collection which I started mainly for my bf, but I love dumbo too! This will be the main focus of my collection from now one. I love the dumbo in the tub, the crying dumbo, the clown one, dumbo airlines, and the Mickey’s circus jumbo (cuz dumbo moves hehe).
The castle includes my parks collections and the start of my DLR PODH pins. Also there are some Mickey pins. The PODH collection will be my other main focus since I’m trying to be an actual completist for that one.
Small Pooh and piglet side collection. Love the Japan pooh puns and the Xmas Disney Auctions pin of Pooh and eeyore!
Mickey and Minnie as a couple. So cute!! I love the kissing booth one especially
Small wall-e collection cuz robotics..
My maleficent collection but I’m gonna stop collecting her, too. I will prob move this to a shadowbox soon and maybe even thin it out.
Small sorcerer Mickey collection and my first and only PODM!
Here are some of my stylized belle pins that I’ve already moved to a small canvas. Will move the rest of my BatB pins to a frame I made so I can make room for more dumbo and PODH pins! Will post pics of the BatB frame later. I’ve accumulated a lot of pins this year and got a lot of help from this community! Anyway, thanks for looking!!
