I might try for Mickey since that's the closest one to looking like an actual waffle, but the others are pancakey enough for me to feel ok about not getting them.

I'm debating going out, at least for Saturday only. It seems like it could be fun, but it also seems like people are going to be mostly focused on the lanyard and board trading and HotArt/ACME very rarely puts out anything I collect, so it might just be an expensive trader gathering exercise.

Any SoCal person want to take a driving day trip for Saturday only and do this on the cheap? Leave early morning, do the event, drive home? Save a couple hundred bucks on airfare, hotel, and taxi charges. If we skip the early bird entry and buying a table, all we'd have to worry about is gas, food, and possibly trader pins for the lanyards.

Sounds like my kind of trip! Unfortunately, I am trying to figure out logistics from the opposite direction (CO).

As far as I can tell, they just arrived in my local box lunch store a couple of days ago.
