So will these SDCC Marvel pins be available anywhere else? Is there a certain retailer that will have them or is sponsoring them? I have to have them ALL!

So apparently those gold japan pins are fairly large

Im into it but I dont know if everyone will be (not my pic, fingers crossed I have someone picking them up though)

Hey, how fast have the donuts been selling out? I have a friend who wants the Lion King one, so I'll be heading down to WDW on Thursday. I just wanted to know if I have to drag my lazy butt out of bed early, or if I can roll in around lunch...:D

Yes, Disney owns Marvel, so any pins released in a public manner like this, would be "officially licensed."
Actually... :) If they're like the previous years' - they're not Disney pins. They do not have a Disney copyright on the back. They just have a Marvel copyright on the back and therefore would not be considered official Disney trading pins without the Disney copyright.

(I have a few of the previous years' ones now on my "I'm not collecting Marvel" board. And am looking for a few more!)

In past years I think it was attendee only. Though if it turns out they can be gotten another way I'd love it. In my experience popular characters should be gotten fairly quickly because the price will rise quickly and stay high, less popular will sink down in cost after the hype dies down, just like Disney pins I suppose. Since I am only getting Deadpool from this series I have had to get them asap after the con ends, he has really taken off in recent years thanks to Funko and the Ryan Reynolds movie.

And my new must have is......Cyclops! I can't believe I've never been to SDCC, and I live in California.

It may be different now but tickets used to sell out so quick. You had to be on point and have the funds ready to go at a moments notice. I was never able to go because I was almost always working anyways and never was able to refresh the page fast enough to get a ticket. My best friend went a few times though. He loved it.

I don't think it will sell out crazy fast in WDW. It probably will at Disneyland. The Maleficent latte sold out in about an hour whereas it took at least a day to sell out in WDW. WDW supposedly gets 2/3 of the LE pins because it gets more guest traffic.

I was able to get a donut pin two days after the release last time! So I think you’ll be safe

I actually met my husband at SDCC, but we haven't gone since 2008. The crowds just got too tightly packed. And yes, tickets sell out instantly. Despite it being something like 20,000 per day.
