2018 Pin Releases
I Vote pin event, but that’s because that theme is so in my wheelhouse. I’ve always waited for an event theme that would scream “me”, whelp, that looks like the one!
D23 is cool, but I hate how like Comic Con it is, wait in lines overnight to see panels that get posted online, or to buy “exclusive merch”, bleh. Not my bag. Also unless they release some big news in the next year, I’m not super excited about any upcoming films or parks stuff (beyond Marvel Land but eh, I’ll get the scoop regardless), last time I went it was because we were still a year out from Zootopia and I was super pumped for that! But I still only went the one day of the panel. Last year’s Expo I just plain avoided that area like the plague...
tl;dr D23 Expo if you know they will have panels and announcements regarding a movie or project you know you’re into, go for it! But IMO it’s not worth it to just go for the hell of it.

I think it’s usually 2, 2:30 or 3 AM Eastern and a second wave usually at 7 AM eastern. They put out two waves. On Monday Morning. 7 AM is the easier time for me since I’m usually awake by then, but I hope I’m up for both if it does release, so I would have a second chance if I miss out on the first wave

I'm reeeeeally hoping it's just one weekend before or after D23 so I can make it to both! I can't have a whole month in the US but if they're close enough I might be able to swing it! (and spend all my money too)

They told me the same thing. They have a bunch of other events that conflict and they just don’t have the staffing or facilities to handle at the same time. They gave us a May thru July timeframe

So just making sure I’m seeing this right... the Rapunzel puzzle comes out next month (September) and the Cinderella puzzle comes out in November?
 
There are a few Rapunzel Pins left on the Shop Disney Parks app, just ordered one. I’ve been refreshing like every minute since 12 AM, it’s been on the app since 1:30 AM, but refreshing every minute and could never get order to go through. But, it finally paid off. I’m starting to think the app page is a placeholder and only goes up around 7 AM EST

Not that I've seen. I'm desperately wanting to see the Paris September flyer, since I'll be there in two weeks from tomorrow! I wanna see if anything's coming out that I might get to snag for myself. :3
