WOW talk about downing a Villain?

how about this,
Mufffasa was a tyranical ruler with a cruel streak towards the other animals, only his place as King made him exempt from a total stampede of dissention, I have it in fact on good account that most of the hooved animals<zebra, girafee,gnu,antelopes,etc>were in the final stages of rebellion planning when Scar saved the entire kingdom from chaos! Like a good CIA assisintaion of a cruel and heartless dictator, one paw swipe by Scar saved the entire animal kingdom from a certain long and bloody rebellion which may have left a young king to be like Simba, orphaned or worse yet!!!
Besides that Scar does what no other Disney Villain has ever done, Killed on Camera, check the books its true!! All the other villain killings happen offscreen and we only hear about it, Scar showed us how deep a villains hate can go!!
Jeremy Irons is sarcasim in carnte'... His dulcet tones make you always ALMOST forget his depth of depravity, and who can forget the line
" NO not that SONG!!!"

Now as for another we have that rude,blue dude from down under, HaDes!!

If you ask me its that Cindyrella chick whose creepy? yeah she gots nice shoes, but she still smells of the chimmney soot and floor soap! And that whole fairy godmother thing , I mean really? What was in the crumbs of food that GoodWife Tremaine graciously bestowed to her that made her imagine that!!
Mice to horses, surreeee, and of course the coach was a pumpkin, what ever you say Cindy!!!
Now that some shome would send another shome out to find who fits this shoe is even beyond comment!!

First off, only one foot in the entire kingdom fits this shoe? Wow talk about popultaion diverstity?
Second, one guy will find and try to fit every foot in the land, he is either even creepier than that Cindy chick or has a huge thing about FEET<guess which Im betting on?>
Lastly that said foot fetishist,ahemmm ,,,,,,alledged foot conosure, would keep a GLASS shoe intact, you try going thru the Magik Kingdom<any of em> with a glass something and see if it survives the day, all that jostleing and bouncing, and remember you aint crossing the countryside on horseback wit a glass shoe?

I'll say the Disney depiction of Frollo is pretty evil, sure, but the book version would have you change your mind. The original telling of The Hunchback of Notre Dame is completely different; Quasi's a selfish brute, Frollo is a loving caretaker and Esmeralda is a weepy eyed pathetic example of womanhood. I can't shake the book version from my memory so I can't bring myself to hate on Frollo.

For me, worst villain might go to either Syndrome from The Incredibles or maybe Ratigan, but not sure on him. Ratigan wanted to be the most evil criminal mind but he came off as adorable most of the time. Just silly, really, but his songs will keep him as one of my favorite characters ever. But, yes, Syndrome was someone I could relate to and understand and yet hate completely. He was hurt by his hero not turning out the way he thought he was (been there, done that, never meet your celebrity idols) but he didn't grow up thinking that he needed to learn to distinguish the difference between his fantasies and reality, he was trying to punish the world for not being his fantasy. He killed dozens of people, good people, just to perfect a killing machine built to take out one guy. And all those years he wasted wallowing in his self pity? He was just a selfish, evil little man.

On the other end of the spectrum, nicest villain...that's hard for me because some of the villains don't come off as villains to me. Madame Mim, for example. I don't think she was evil, she was just a little old loon. Kronk was too goofy and well meaning to be a bad guy, Long John Silver was a father figure that couldn't bring himself to harm Jim, and Chernabog? Why is he a bad guy? He's a demon on top of a mountain that gets to party for a few hours once a year. He's bad because...he's a demon? Cop Out! That's not an answer.

I always saw Mother Gothel as motivated by fear of her own mortality rather than just vanity.

I may be a little biased, but I do think Maleficent is up there with some of the really bad ones. Look at how she reacted to not getting invited to a party, essentially? Kill the princess, kill the prince, turn into a dragon, etc. Can you imagine how she would have acted if something worse had happened?

As for other villains, I always thought the Evil Queen from Snow White was pretty bad... I didn't think so when I was little, but when it clicked for me as I got older about the whole "cut her heart out and out it in a box" thing, I was extremely freaked out.

She *said* she was calling forth all the powers of hell, but apparently all the powers of hell are... one dragon? Really? Nah. I think Maleficent talked a good game but was actually way more bark than bite.

Scar is pretty bad, but I never thought of him as the most evil since The Lion King is basically Hamlet on four legs. Shan Yu is definitely up there, especially since he's voiced by Rutger Hauer, who just EXUDES evil when he wants to. (I really can't help but think of The Hitcher whenever I hear his voice. Augh.)

I haven't seen Snow White in years, but yeah, that whole 'cut out her heart and put it in a box' thing is pretty serious. Not only do I want her dead, I want to treat her dead organs like a pretty treasure for my jewelry box? Ewwwwwww. She's in my top five evil villains, certainly.

I do think Lady Tremaine had a motive-- the advancement of her own daughters. (It even says that in the opening narration.) But I think she's still one of the top evil. When you live with someone, see them all day every day, are as close to them as family, and can still mistreat, insult and abuse them on a daily basis... that takes a seriously cold heart.
