OMG, I can totally feel you on that one! Although I definitely don't hate Stitch, he is far from being one of my favorite characters. When I saw the lanyard 8 pin set that included Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, Chip 'n' Dale, Tink, and STITCH as the last character, I just about died. Really, Disney? You think Stitch fits in there?

To trade would be an awfully big adventure.

Tangentially, I recently re-watched Sleeping Beauty after not having seen it for years... and couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at that scene. They've raised this girl from a baby without any magic! In SIXTEEN YEARS they never learned to cook? Or sew? What've they all been eating all this time, berries? And where's Briar Rose been getting all her clothes??

The reason I like Tink so much is that she acts more like an actual faery than the Blue Fairy from Pinocchio, or the three fairies from Sleeping Beauty. (I am in no way dissing those characters - They're quite lovable - but they don't act the way most faeries do in folklore and classic fairy tales.) Faeries are not supposed to be all sweet and kind to humans. They are not supposed to grant wishes, make dreams come true, or bake birthday cakes... So, I think with Tink, Disney finally kind of got it halfway right.
I think though that's why she went from a Pixie to Faerie. Pixies are jealous, spiteful, vicious and resentful, the exact way she was in Peter Pan.

BUT she is the mascot of Disneyland. NO not Mickey, Tink. That's why she had to become something different.

And it's these exact thoughts that made Disney decide to make her an ideal 'fairy' in the new movies. In those she is cute, she has good friends and can be a role model to younger generations.

And also...I hate Peterpan. Everything about that movie for forever and a day.

LOL! Sorry, I couldn't help it. You were really getting in to it, and when the typical Tumblr reply to rants popped in my head, it made me laugh. Had to.

I don't disagree about Tinker Bell being a righteous B, but she's interesting in other ways, so yeah. And on the shallow side, she's pretty to look at on pins.

    Love this, so true.
I don't like the way Tink is portrayed by Disney right now for this very reason. So, even though I love her, I dislike her modern portrayal.

Hahaha! Those are some great questions.

I'm always looking for Up!, Brother Bear and Emperor's New Groove Pins.
If you have any, let me know!

I actually read somewhere that his name is "Ferdinand". It was just the name they gave him during production or something. Probably just a rumor, and obviously not official, but that's what I find myself calling him lol. I feel like the poor guy needs something!

I was just in Hollywood Studios, and I have another "character" that I have to say I dislike. It's Waldo the Spirit of 3-D, from the Muppet Vision show. He's not a muppet, and he just seems out of place and like he's trying too hard to be "wacky" or "zany" but he just comes off as annoying.

I dislike Sid too, him and his evil laugh. I was pretty much in distress the whole time while Sid was torturing the toys...so evil lol. I guess I have to watch toy story 3 again I never noticed he was a trash boy haha.

I also dislike Stitch I just dont understand other peoples obsession with him.
As well as a child I HATED Gaston. As Beauty and the Beast was my fav movie and he was just obnoxious, rude, lead an angry mob to storm the castle and tried to kill Beast so needless to say I was not a fan.

Jafar was just evil and I never appreciated him much either.

    THIS THIS THIS THIS!
And personally I LIKE that she is sassy and jealous and selfish! It shows that she has some real personality traits. She isn't always perfect and happy and nice to everyone. AND in Peter Pan she comes around to the good side and is nice to Wendy (while keeping the attitude that I love) so she isn't REALLY that villainous after all, is she?

And sorry everyone, but I can not stand Jessica Rabbit. Eugghhhh.
She makes me so angry haha.

I dislike Jafar . Trying to marry sweet little Jasmine for his own greed . He's just creepy and snake like . I know he's only a character, but when I see him doing meet n greets . I stay clear of him .

Never liked Big Pete. He is just so mean to Mickey.

She makes you *angry*? That's new one. I usually hear a lot about how she's slutty (she's not, she's loyal to Roger- and I'm not into slut-shaming anyway...cheating is a different matter, of course), or bitchy (she's sarcastic, just this side of bitchy, IMO), or a tool for men to drool over (point there, but it's part of the humor of it, in the movie). I also hear a lot of folks disliking her popularity, the same as with Stitch and other popular characters.

But she makes you actually angry? That's a new one. What about her makes you that mad?
