Wow-how terrible. I was so shocked when I saw this. I'm so glad this forum exists to keep us informed about these problems.
 
Can someone confirm for that all the pins are gold and that any that come as silver are scrappers?


I just got one off eBay, the weight feels odd and it's silver. But the paint looks great and the spelling is all fine on the back. :(

Besides the bad spelling, doesn't the ice cream pattern look pretty legit on the fake? It follows the rule of the ice cream going off the edge of the pin. They're trying to look more and more like the real ones to make it harder for us to find the fake pins.

One word: WOW!
