Cupcake Mini Pin Set? Already on eBay

Hi guys. I have a question about this mini pin set:
Pin 82947: Character Cupcake - Mini-Pin Set

It's not due to be released until March 10th, but some people already have it for trade, and it's up in several listings on eBay already. Some of the listings are of the full set, shown on the backer card. Only one of the listings for the full set says that it's a pre-order. What's really throwing me though are the listings for the individual pins that show them out of the package, on someone's carpet at home. Did the set come out early? Or are these fakes? What gives?
