D23 Japan 2018 questions

I am planning to go to D23 Japan next year,
I read the event schedule, so tempted.

But I do not really know much about this event in Japan,
wonder if it is same as the US one with pin trading and pin release?

Anybody else planning to go D23 Japan 2018 too?

not planning, but sure would be interested in attending! Japan Disney is still on my bucket list.

Very similar in that some of the pins and other LE merchandise from D23 2017 in Anaheim, CA is saved for D23 in Japan.

Good luck! Rumor has it that 5 of the LE15 $2000 50-pin framed sets were saved for Japan.

I believe it's hard for us in the US to attend the expo in Japan. They don't make it easy to get tickets. You may even have to live in Japan to be able to buy a ticket.
