If so, I am with you... too many animation celebration threads going on. We have the 'watch' the event and close to cost pick-ups. Its crazy (and a bit exciting... I have to admit.)

Thanks for last year's contest. It was fun. It would be easy to guess some of the obvious missing shorts - Johnny Appleseed. Maybe instead of guessing one, the winner could be if anyone guessed all 8 chasers (or whoever guessed the most correct)?

 

I’ve been at a work conference in Ottawa all day and just had a chance to look and I’m very underwhelmed. I think I’ll pass on this year and budget for another trip in the fall.

Oh, now there's a great thought! I will noodle on contest ideas, though maybe I'll hold off until summer this time. I'll need something Disney-related to occupy me after I get back from WDW.

I have a question about the passholder exclusive pin. I don't currently have an annual pass but am planning on getting one, hopefully before the pin event. I've read that you get a certificate first and then have to pick up your pass at the parks. I won't be able to go to the parks until the pin event. Would I still be able to sign up for the passholder pin with just the certificate or no?

 

yes, you can sign up to get it with the certificate - you will have to show your pass when you pick up the pins.

You do get the passholder discount on the pins too.

 

It looks like the Sunday pin trading is open to any guests at EPCOT. The return of free Sundays? Especially because the store will be open as well.

 

I'm glad they're doing that again. could bring a different crowd into the mix!

Since I've pretty much decided against going to the event itself (hoping friends will help me find the two pins I need from it) given the unlikelihood of people there having anything from my small wants list (what's in my sig here) - the public trading day is appealing. Maybe I could find some Wonderland AP and PP pins there.
