Disney Girls - Reveal/Conceal Mystery Collection QUESTION!
Tiana is the "revealed" character in one of the sets. Her mystery "concealed" pin is Meg (from Hercules) -- unless you are lucky enough to get the elusive Rapunzel chaser!!
 
We have purchased several (for friends) that are duplicative of each other and each of our "concealed" pins have been the same as the following:

Ariel with Mulan
Jasmine with Wendy
Tiana with Meg
Aurora with Giselle
Tinker with Esmerelda
Snow White with Daisy
Cinderella with Pocahontas
Minnie with Alice
Belle with Lilo
Miss Piggy with Jessie

Tiana is a revealed pin. I bought two of them at the DLR Sunday. I have her for trade if you need her. My wants are under jackandalice.

I went today, and OH MY GOODNESS there are hardly any sets left but Miss Piggy. I went to EVERY SINGLE store in DLR and DTD (I wasn't able to hit California Adventure) and seriously most places had less than a dozen in stock.

I purchased:
Aurora, Snow White, Tiana, Tinkerbell, Cinderella, Minnie Mouse, and Jasmine. All stores I went to were sold out of Ariel and Belle. Also, all of the concealed pins I received were like that list. AND NO RAPUNZEL! D:This is an evil plot by Disney I tell you.

awww that not fair...I wonder how many the person on ebay bought to pull Rapunzel..guessing 2 of each box, as that seller has the 21 set for sale then had all the other 20 for sale as singles....Im guessing this could make the pin very expensive if it was to go on ebay for sale :(
 
Why did I start collecting Tangled? Why, oh why!! ;) I didn't think I was going to get into a position of being unable to get a Tangled pin this quickly. :(
 
The problem is Danny, my cursor has hovered over that buy it now button too many times. I cannot afford to do it the moment. I just can't. I don't even want the whole bloody set. But I don't know how long I can hold out for. :(
 
you cant buy it its US only so I guess that makes it easier to resist, maybe start a co-op for the whole set. works out at just over $14 per pin : (Im gonna have to learn to NOT give you ideas :p)

What girls were on the revealed side of the package? Alice and Mulan are the concealed pins.

I am looking for anything on my wants list or most anything under ohsnap19 & seahawk

The next time I go to the park (which will be this saturday) and if they have any I would be more than happy to pick some up for a couple people. If they have a Tiana, I will be happy to get one for you. Anyone could paypal me the money after as to gaurantee they get the pin they wanted.

You know what this means don't you - most of the Rapunzels are with Miss Piggy. Got to be! that's why so few of them have been found.

I thought of that. . . But I can't buy a bunch of Miss Piggy. D: I would be stuck with them forever.

I'd have paid $50 for it, but $100 is taking the p. Good luck with selling it (although I'm sure someone with more money than sense will come along and buy it, but that won't be me).
 
Looking at the price of the reveal/conceal box and IF miss piggy came with Rapunzel Id say would be a slim chance and if you bought 5 Miss Piggy's and didnt pull Rapunzel wouldnt it be cheaper and save money to buy the Rapunzel pin on ebay...

I dont look at it as it costs alot etc as from my point of view its a reasonable price for the pin as if your gonna spend alot on the set to try for Rapunzel then cut out the middle man and go for the one on ebay..

At the end of the day, there is no proof Rapunzel comes with Miss Piggy and could say easily come with any of the other revealed characters so its hit and miss...whos to say you go and buy the full 10 boxes and you dont pull a Rapunzel..its all a game of chance and if it was me Id pay for the Rapunzel pin looking at the ratio of trying to get her as well as buying 5 boxes to try...

my 2 cents on the matter :p
 
If I had the money i'd probably bite the bullet, seeing as right now the Rapunzel reveal/conceal is the single pin that i've convinced myself I have to have. :lol:

You do raise a great point Danny, if I bought 5 boxes of Miss Piggy i'd already be out $100 and i'd have 5 pins no one would want lol. Here's to hoping some more show up at a slightly more reachable price!
 
Id say more will show up in time and since now it has been listed at $100, Im guessing if someone else listed the Rapunzel pin it would be a little bit cheaper to get the sale..

Ive emailed the person who is selling the Rapunzel pin to see who they got her with as if it was Miss Piggy then the theory would work out to be correct but if its any other revealed character then I guess it would be up in the air if you would pull her or not :p

Will update when or if I get a response from the seller.
 
Kinda bad news on the Rapunzel front..got this reply from the seller -

Hello Danny,

I have seen close to 100 boxes opened and I have seen 3 Rapunzels. Each came from a different revealed pin. If there was some sort of secret, I would be all over it but it is all just random.

I know the seller could be lying but but saying the Rapunzel pin came with a different revealed pin, which I suspected all the time so I would say the $100 price tag is a fair price!

Yikes! I feel for you Tangled collectors. :( Best of luck in your search for that particular gem.

Gotta a quick question for those that bought their pins at the parks. Do these pins come with any kind of backer at all, or they just loose in the box? I finally received the two pins that I was wanting and they did not come with backers, so I was wondering.

They really are nice pins! Disney did well on this set. :)

Bummer! I had a chance to trade for the Rapunzel, but I turned it down because I didn't know it was so hot right now! Dang it! And it was for something that was not that good of pin either! Lame!

I would have traded it in a heartbeat too, since I don't collect Rapunzel.
