Good morning and hello hello!
Hi all, our names are Jessica and Josh. We are so glad that we found this site.
We have been collecting since April first of this year. We bought our first pin in February just so that we could have something on our lanyard. Suddenly we fell in love with pins. We decided that if we were going to start collecting pins that they would have to consist of mostly Limited Edition pins because to us they're so exciting. Although we love all pins, we especially love our LE's. Our new hobby can get a little expensive but pin trading/collecting is so worth it!
In the three months that we have been collecting we have attended almost every release at DLR and at DSF. We have met some really nice people and made some really good trades. The pin community is just so welcoming. Then we heard about the forum from a fellow pin trader and decided that we should check it out. We are so glad that we did! The forum is the perfect place for pin traders and collectors alike.
A little about our collection- We love The Nightmare Before Christmas and Villains, especially Maleficent and Jafar. We do collect a variety of other pins that we use for trading. Currently we are trying to expand our NBC collection by attempting to add some of the Gomes pins. We have learned that those specific pins are harder to come by and a little too expensive. But we are determined to find them and add them to our collection.
A bit about us- We are crazy about Disneyland. We go to DLR at least once a week. We usually go Thursdays because its our day off, which works out for releases. Our favorite attractions are Toy Story Midway Mania (which we collect), Indiana Jones (which we also collect), and more recently Radiator Spring Racers. We live in Torrance so it's not too far from DLR or DSF We also will be at our first PTN this friday and hope to meet many of you there. We are so excited! We also got into the first 200 for the Gear Up pins at DLR this Friday and we are thrilled. We can't wait to add these pins to our collection and hopefully make a few trades
