I would prefer to set this question as a poll, but since we don't seem able to do those anymore (unless I'm just not seeing it, which is entirely possible), this will have to do ... . In looking over previous posts on DPF, I realized that it has been quite a few years since the last murder mystery. I also realized that in addition to never playing out the third part of the game currently in progress (more like in limbo now), I also have quite a few ideas that I could turn into viable games - which brings me to this question that I'm asking now that there is more activity/traffic on DPF: Is there enough interest for me to resurrect and host the murder games? Please understand, I love hosting these murder games; I've missed playing them and I'm more than happy to host them for the community, but considering the amount of work that goes into planning and running them (it IS substantial), it doesn't make sense to start them up again without sufficient interest and commitment to see the game through to the end. So if I were to start the games up again, who would be interested in playing? At this point, I'm expecting the next game would start when I get back from WDW in the middle of July. Yes, I know that's quite a ways away, but I need time to restructure my notes, the game itself, and so on, and I want to make sure I have enough time in which to do this. Also, just as a side note (especially for those who have never played a game before): you do NOT need to have played a game before to play now. You can play (or not play) any game you want. Please post your interest in and any questions regarding the game here. If I have enough of a positive response, I'll post the general murder game rules sometime in April/May. An official game sign up thread will follow in June with the game starting in mid July.
