I would have loved some stuff from this! I'm a huge NBC figure collector esp Lock Shock and Barell but... I will be in WDW when this is happening! And nearer the time all my money will be going onto my holiday...*sigh*
Shame it's at the other park as I might have considered going when I am there lol

I hope they release details soon- Going to be making the trip from WDW out for the weekend so hopefully itll be a fun event :)

Cutting it kind of close, aren't they? Or maybe they decided, "Lets scrap the event and just release a lot of Nightmare pins that day." I hope they release some nice Sally pins.

I'm trying to remember when the Tiki Event went on sale last year and don't remember that at all, better go look through archives

Okay, so I looked into the Tiki Event from last year. They announced it in February and tickets were on sale April 2nd for the June 28-29th event.

This is a June 14th event, so 2 weeks earlier, which would hopefully mean that we should see more information about tickets/etc within the next 2 weeks?

P.S. Still looking for a sponsor (well two sponsors)

Thanks for posting the details Alex. I put it on the first page too :)

And I am still looking for two sponsors - just let me know your shirt sizes! :)

I posted this earlier in the thread but if someone out of state/country wants the NBC pins, shirt, gifts, etc. and you need someone to pick these up for you, I can attend the event in your place and I'm happy to be sponsored.

What this means is you pay for the admission, the pins and whatever other merchandise you want to buy, and I pick up everything for you (including any/all gifts) from the event and ship them to you at your cost. I sponsored someone for the WDW Villains event and it was a great experience. I wasn't too keen on spending money for airfare, hotel, etc. and I didn't care to attend the event. All I wanted was the pins... and by sponsoring someone, I was able to get the gifts and almost everything I wanted from the RSP. In the end, I saved a LOT of money by not having to buy the pins for outrageous prices on ebay.

The only thing I get out of this is being able to trade at the event so for me, paying the $90 event fee isn't worth it if I just want to trade. I don't collect NBC so all the pins/gifts are for you and your collection.

If you're curious about sponsoring someone or if you're interested in sponsoring me, please send a PM!!

Has anyone been to one of these events before? Can someone explain the "Random Selection Process Merchandise Pick-up" process a little more? Thanks!

ok. back from a brake and this is what I find. so got me thinking.

*** How about a sponsor war ??? ****
I know most people want you to pay the full $90.00 **** but what if you could just pay $70 or even $60 ????***

I don't have the money to blow on such a event but could team up with someone to make the trip worth wild. Part of the fun is going to the event. I cant expect anyone to pay for all the fun they don't get to have. All that would do is make the pins you want from the event cost you a extra $90. Just a idea and something I was thinking of for this kind of stuff.

let me know what you all think. :wavey:

You are told when you can choose the items you want to purchase. You get two to three RSPs and you list which items you want in the order you want them on the first RSP. Then, the additional items you want in the order you want them on the second RSP and so-forth.

Disney figures out, based upon the selection/RSPs who is going to get what item (especially if they are limited). So, if it's a LE100 or so, make sure to put it on RSP #1 as your top choice.
