Is it my imagination or is there something next to Cinderella in that first piccy to the left of her, something red, I wonder if thats another doll that they are trying to hide ? ..... I wonder if if could be Stepmother Tremaine ?

Stepmother Tremaine is quite often depicted in red too ;o) ...

I'm so excited they did not exclude Pocahontas or Mulan in the new singing dolls! And I'm glad Mulan finally got the maroon section of her dress back!

They weren't there I scanned the range yesterday morning, they must have uploaded the images after I did my scan.

The accessories for Cinderella and Snow White showed up awhile ago (maybe a few months ago???), but the others just appeared within the past week (also these use the wording "Classic Doll Collection accessories" on the box, the previous accessory sets used "Wardrobe and Friends Set".

Still no sign of the rumored Queen Elinor 17" doll :(

LOVE that some new singing dolls are out! Belle, Aurora and Ariel (pink dress YAAY!) look great, unfortunately they included a curly loose hair from the looks of Jasmine's stock photo, her hair looks all wrong, I will still get her and doctor her up though! ;)

It's been an exciting day for the Disney doll world! ;) <3

For some it will not change, e.g. Jasmine will definitely sing A Whole New World as that is the only thing she sings in during the movie... I hope some of them change though! :) I would love to see Snow White sing Some Day My Prince Will Come... ^_^
 
Comparing Disney Singing Princess Dolls 2010-2012

Here are collages that I've created showing the evolution of Disney Store 17'' singing Princess dolls, from their debut in 2010 to the upcoming 2012 dolls. For now, I'm posting the first five Disney Princesses, along with a short review. Later I will post the remaining five. Original images from DisneyStore.com.

I like the new face of the 2012 Snow White, but think that the 2011 is better than the 2012 in every way. I especially love the accuracy of dress, and the total lack of glitter on the older (current) model.

The 2012 Cinderella's face is pretty and more youthful looking than the other models, and the dress, despite the glitter, looks good on her. The hairdo is nice, but I prefer the more movie accurate 2010 hairdo. Of course, the glitter free blue satin dress of the 2011 model is my pick of the dresses.

The face and hair of the 2012 model are better than the 2011 model, but the 2010 is the best. The 2012 model is missing the curly front bangs and gold necklace of the other models. The 2011 dress is once again my pick as the best.

The new 2012 Ariel singing doll is now in human form, with curly shorter hair and a glitter filled pink gown with shear sleeves and overskirt. I was a little iffy on the new 12'' Ariel, but this singing Ariel is really beautiful. And the pink dress looks so good that I don't mind the glitter. She looks to be the best of the new singing dolls.

The 2012 Belle has a very pretty face, but she doesn't look like Belle to me. I much prefer the faces of the other models, with the 2011 model my favorite. The new dress is much closer to the movie dress, and look great, even with the glitter, as with Ariel's new dress. The hair on the new doll is my favorite, with its nice curls and shorter length.
 
Looks like they are repackaging the Mini Doll Collections (now called Enchanted Mini Princess Collection).. These actually showed up about a month ago. I originally thought they were repeats of the current Mini Doll Collection..but then I noticed they added Rapunzel and dropped Pochantas and remixed 2nd and 3rd princess sets...

That's why I said "repackaged"...but they moved Mulan from Set #2 to the new Set #1 (dropping Pocahontas) and added Rapunzel to the new set #2

here's what is in the current sets:
Mini Princess Doll Set #1 (Belle, Tiana, Aurora, Pocahontas)
Mini Princess Doll Set #2 (Mulan, Cinderella, Jasmine, Snow White)
and the new ones:

I have just spotted on the UK Disney Store website a new Rapunzel doll set called the Plait and Play kit. The doll in the set looks the same as the Basic Classic Rapunzel that is still available at the moment but her hair comes ready braided and she has some cute hair accesories too ;o) ...

Ok, you all, call me crazy, but it looks like Cinderella is going to get a full party giftset full of characters from her film... including: Lady Tremaine, Anastasia, and Drizella in 12" size!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Unfortunately, Cinderella is in her "new look." I would so buy this just for the Tremaines, assuming they are not sold separately!

Just died a little inside.... this is up there on my most wanted list for this year!!! :D
 
Here's a closer pic of the Tremaines. I have so been looking forward to Disney making dolls for them! You can tell that these are not the mini-dolls. Lady Tremaine looks so severe! I love it!

My only issue is that they gave the wrong heads to the stepsisters. Drizella is supposed to have the larger chin and Anastasia has the jowls. But oh well, at least they made them! These will look fabulous next to my other Villainess dolls!

Wow, thank you for posting this, this set has been one of my grails. Now if they would only do Gaston and other villains I would really be over the moon. A CM told me there is going to be a villains section in the stores by fall. Also said that the friends series of dolls as they call them are supposed to continue.

I appreciates everyone's posts and pictures here, you are all so generous with your information. I have been following since the designer doll debacle. Good luck to everyone who wants Merida tomorrow.

Wow, Shivatopia, that is a great looking set! And the dolls are all glitter free! Looks like the Disney Store is going full bore with new Cinderella merchandise for the upcoming Diamond Blu-ray release! It would be great if they did this for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs!

I love the Cinderella large gift set and also the prospect of even more villains. Thanks for the picture. My daughter was very excited to see that they are making dolls of the sisters and step mother. Now that they've done the least pretty villains in Ursula and the step sisters (least pretty in my opinion at least lol) I hope they also do the prettiest, the Evil Queen. I can't seem them making dolls of Ratcliffe and Shan Yu any time soon though but Jafar would be amazing. I really hope this set is available in the UK, as with what will probably be a hefty retail price it would be difficult to acquire on ebay with at least £25+ postage. But I must get that Step Mother doll - it's brilliant.
