Does that mean that there will be more in this LE 200 series? Are we expecting “conceal” pins to be the continuous series? Also, does continuous series mean only available at these events in the future?

This series will be available at all Pinopolis events. All Pinmasters around the world will have this series on hand after July event. There are 35 designs now and more will follow.

    Yes.

My friend and I, along with hopefully her daughter, will be traveling to Las Vegas from SoCAL very early Saturday morning. And, because we know we will not be in any shape at all after a long day of trading because of how early we would’ve gotten up (which currently looks to be for me will have been by 3 AM in order to leave my house a bit before 4 AM in order to get to my friend’s house a bit after 5 AM) to make the 4-hour drive back home, we have chosen to spend the night in Las Vegas.

And, because we know from experience how exhausted we will be at the end of a long training event, we have chosen to stay in the West Tower at Circus Circus. I am aware of the bad reviews, but have found positive West Tower specific reviews online.

In any event, we’re only staying one night. And convenience is what is most important to us.

We will be able to valet park right outside the lobby of the West Tower. And, from the west tower lobby, we will be able to go up onto the promenade where we believe the conference rooms are, bypassing what is sure to be a very crowded, and likely smoke-filled, casino floor.

I'm booking my hotel this week. I joined Marriott Rewards (realized that it is merging with Starwood Preferred Guest of which I am already a member) so figured, why not?

Plus, booking this week will let the charge show up on the statement coming out in July, woohoo! :D

Will the same rules apply? Need to trade Pinopolis/ACME pins for them with the Pinmasters?

And how many can you trade per Pin Master at the regular events? 2 per person?

    @Pinopolis Ambassador

I have some suggestions to make sure Vegas is a great event so if you would please pass them onto Lenny and Lisa, I would appreciate it.

Registration: Have at least three people manning the registration area. If it is possible and the hotel will let you, create lines with tape on the carpet that you can remove at the end of the event.

Start registration at 10 a.m. for those who purchased tables (30) and those who purchased early entry (50). Presumably, they will have different colored wristbands. After going through those, start taking the free entry people with a third colored wristband, even if they arrive before 12 noon. Just don't let them into the ballroom until noon.

Sales: Have a sales table outside, near registration. If it is possible and the hotel will let you, create lines with tape on the carpet that you can remove at the end of the event.

Start sales at 10 a.m. Have at least three people manning the "booth" so that they can sell the Pinopolis pins that are needed to trade for the lanyard traders inside as well as the Golden Magic pins. This will help get people excited to trade once they enter at 11 a.m. or 12 noon for the free entrance traders. All people who are manning the booth should be capable of taking payment so you'll need mobile card readers for all of them. The number of people in sales can be reduced when the crowds dissipate (so probably by 1 pm).

Have a sales table inside as well, so people don't have to exit the trading room to purchase more pins. This should also be set up with more lanyard traders, Golden Magic Pins, and any other pins you want to sell.

Ballroom (outside): Have one entrance (to begin with) and have it manned by one or two people (depends if there is a regular sized door to enter, or double doors). Let the people who bought tables into the ballroom first, so they have time to set up before the early entry people are allowed in. That way, the table purchases will have everything set up to trade with the early entry guests and they can start trading.

Once the free trading time opens up, open up both entrances to the room. These entrances no longer need to be manned.

Lanyard traders: Have one person go around to all five pin masters at least once an hour to collect the pins that have been traded (to sell to others). Although, depending on what pin is released, it may need to be more than once an hour.

I think that's it for now. If I come up with any more ideas, I will let you know. I know Lenny got a PA system for Las Vegas so that will be good for those traders who purchased the tables to come up to trade at the boards!

Came up with one more suggestion @Pinopolis Ambassador

Name Badges: Maybe you can have pre-printed name badges that say:
    Name
    PinPics Name:

And then have people fill it out so that they know who they are trading with?

    Hotel booked! :D

Also @Pinopolis Ambassador , one more idea, they might want to rotate people around the various stations so they don't get bored...lol

Update for the HotArt Lanyard Trader Program:

PinCon World Event Lanyard Procedures and Policies

Please take a few minutes to become familiar with our PinCon World event lanyard trading procedures. Please know that procedures will vary at your local Pin Master trading spots. In an effort to prevent counterfeit pins from being traded we would ask that you purchase your lanyard trading pins at the event directly. Pins purchased at the event will have an enhanced security measure indicating that they are genuine. Pins without this measure will not be eligible to trade at PinCon World. Please do not purchase lanyard traders for the event online. You will still be able to trade up to 2 Pinopolis Pins per day from your collection at your local Pin Master, but they will not be accepted for trade at PinCon World. Trading Blind Bags will be available for $100 for 10 count and $195 for a 20 count bag.

At PinCon World Las Vegas there will be a total of 5 Pin Masters available to trade with, each with their own line. Each Pin Master will represent one of 5 color lanyards, and each color lanyard will represent 1 unique set of 5 LE 200 pins.

    Procedures
    • Upon purchasing your lanyard trader blind bag of either 10 or 20 pins you will receive your tickets for lanyard trading. You will receive 2 tickets for each color lanyard with the purchase of a 10 count blind bag, you will receive 4 tickets per color lanyard with the purchase of a 20 count blind bag.
    • After you have your traders and your tickets you may proceed to any color lanyard line. You can trade 2 pins at a time per color lanyard.
    • You may choose your LE 200 trade from what is available on the Pin Master’s lanyard at the time of your trade. At that time you will surrender your uniquely marked traders and your 2 tickets for that color line. You will have 1 minute to complete your trade.
    • Repeat steps 2 and 3 in a different color lanyard line until all of your tickets and traders are gone!
    • Once all 5 sets have been traded for, 1 new set will be introduced that will be dispersed among each of the 5 Pin Master lanyards and so on until the last set is gone on Sunday.
    Policies
    1. Lanyard trading tickets will not be replaced if lost or stolen.
    2. No refunds will be issued for unused traders, you may save them to be traded at a later time at a Pin Master location.
    3. No cutting in line, holding spaces in line for others, or any other physical misconduct (pushing, shoving, yelling, etc.)
    4. A person may trade a maximum of 2 pins per line at a time.
    5. A Pin Master has the right to refuse a trade for any reason at any time.
    6. Guests must follow all instructions given by authorized volunteers.
    7. We reserve the right to dismiss any person from the event who is in violation of these policies.
    8. We reserve the right to make changes to the policies at the event without further notice.

@Pinopolis Ambassador , for those who purchased tables (I'm not one, but I have a few friends that did) - aren't they also supposed to be receiving vouchers to trade? Do they also get some lanyard pins to trade as part of their table purchase?

They are only able to trade two times at our fabulous trading board. No extra vouchers for the lanyard trading. That's only in Florida.

I'm confused - is Pinopolis stating that pins bought from their online site or at their Events in the past could be counterfeit?? WHAT THE HECK is going on here?

My guess is that, besides the etching of the pin (that perhaps people have learned how to get that done on scrapper or counterfeit pins (?)), there is going to be a symbol, letter, number, something else on there.

Sigh... I think I need a break from this hobby. Too complicated, too many rules, too much effort and then you get another rule, takes the fun out of things and this is supposed to be something I do for fun.
