So I was thinking about getting some plain pin trading bags and some patches to make my own personalization books to organize my pins. Does anyone have a place they can recommend that sells PLAIN black pin bags and Disney patches that are of good quality but not TOO expensive? And I'm looking for bags/books that are roughly around the size of the larger bags from the parks (not the small little hip bags)

Does anyone have any examples of bags that they have made themselves for their collections?

I'm pretty sure the PM Dan sent you is about the same eBay seller where I get my bags. It's not as large as the bags Disney sells, but it is bigger than a hip bag.

I use a big Jessica bag for my collection, but this what my trader bag looks like, decked out with buttons:

I never received Dan's PM. I sent him one after seeing the reply but haven't gotten a response. I found someone on the bay that is selling some bags for $14.99, and will even sell larger quantities. Does that sound familiar?

that should be the one. theres only one seller i know of on eBay that sells pin bags in bulk:

as far as patches....no idea on those but im sure you cna find some on ebay or at a local hobby/craft store like joanns or michaels.
 
Yeah, Purplefleur is the seller I bought mine from, at Dan's suggestion. I really like - the pin bag is the perfect size for me (a little smaller than a fullsized bag, but still very sizable), and the price can't be beat. With coroplast inserts as described in Dan's Guide thread, it's a great unit.
