Let's see, you would need to buy:
$15 worth of pins from the "cheap groups"
$25 from the $12.50 group
$30 from the $15 group
$20 from the $20 group
to get to the $50 pins, so $90 minimum spent to get to one of those
In my type A brain, I could not find a way to spend $15 on cheap pin. $6, $8, and $10 pins. So, in my math, to reach $15, you actually have to reach $18 - that's where my extra $3 came in!
