PODM Pin releases at DL

I am coming out of town to visit Anaheim the week the Ariel PODM movie is going to be release. Since it has been a lot time since I have be to the park during a "major" pin release, could somebody please give me a idea what to expect and plan on doing to get the pins. Anciently wrist bands were issued outside of the park for two pins to be purchased at the Little Green Men store, but from what I was reading about the Tangled release it was sheer madness.

Where does the line begin?
When can you line up?
Where do the pins get released?
Will the PODM pin get the same release distribution as the Brave opening day pin?
Why in my right mind would I want to do this?
