So just a little over a week ago, I sent a birthday zap to our beloved Kim (@LittleBird), because THAT'S HOW BIRTHDAYS WORK. You give gifts and it's super fun and you DON'T EXPECT ANYTHING IN RETURN. But apparently Kim does not understand the fundamental principles of this tradition (much like my Secret Santa recipient @MerlinEmrys didn't understand how Christmas works.) Because yesterday I received an LBE with her name on it, containing this: Yes, a freakin' zap (again, just ONE WEEK after she got her bday zap from me), and what is probably the most aptly chosen card ever. Not only does it have a "little bird" on it, but the phrase is totally appropriate for a Revenge Zap. And the note on the card is also incredibly clever and hilarious. I definitely nominate it for inclusion in the DPF Zaps Hall of Fame: FINE, KIMBERLY, BE THAT WAY. I should mention that the pin she sent me is not even on my PinPics wants list or anything - I simply mentioned in passing a while back on some other thread that I didn't yet have it, so not only is this a Revenge Zap, it's a sneaky Ninja Zap, too. Anyway, thanks to Kim and @Ajk, I am now a proud Joanna completist!!! WOO HOO!!! It took a lot of work, but I managed to squeeze the whole collection into one photo: Um, yeah... Disney really needs to make more Joanna pins. xD Thank you, my dear Kim, for your utterly unnecessary but majorly appreciated zap!!! It was so sweet and thoughtful of you to pick up on the brief comment I made about needing this pin. I'm so touched, and super excited to finally complete my "collection!" And as usual, this pin love came at the absolute perfect time. Yesterday was my cat's surgery, which was just a routine neutering, but when I dropped him off, the vet told me his blood tests suggested he might be developing kidney disease. She did a urine test after the surgery to get a definitive answer, and fortunately he's fine, thank God! But as you can imagine, the few hours in between dropping him off and picking him up were pretty dang agonizing for me. I happened to check the mailbox during this time and Kim's zap was just the cheering up I needed. <3 <3 <3 That said, you've now officially started a game of zap tag with me... and I never lose. (And yes, I realize I am a huge hypocrite for railing on Kim and Merlin when I literally do the exact same thing, but that's totally different and fine for me to do because REASONS.) Also, here's a bonus for the other Broadway fans on DPF (where my musical theatre nerds at??) I randomly found this pic a while ago, and if you get it then we're automatically BFFs.
