I have a handy dandy spreadsheet with my trades on it. I decided not to pursue it since this person trades for
their kids. But, I will definitely consider this if I am ever approached by this person again. I am going to pull
the fake pin off my board so I have room for real pins. :(

As far as the problem with your pin, I am having difficulty finding the issue you see. I keep looking at the photos. And,
the one thing that keeps coming up is that one pin has a pin back and the other doesn't. :)

    Ding!
Hint: You may be making a joke, but the pin back is part of what is hiding the major pins issue.

Mine too, but i couldn't see anything wrong with it, so i thought it was how you were keeping track of which pin was fake vs real while moving them around for photos. Soooooo whats under that pin back??????

The pin itself is an alternate color? (silver instead of gold)

You know...I also wondered about that lone pin back, and almost said something! Dying to know what it is covering.

I gonna choose pin A - without doing any research. And, I have this pin.

    Just taking a guess.

Thank you for posting this. It's a good refresher course.

Ooo... I will give that wild guess two 'dings'... (A ding like a 'you got it' (ding, ding, ding, ding)... So a correct answer would get more 'dings'.

Hint: the problem is not covered up by the lone pin back.

The only other things that I can see are:
Toenails are different looking. I think though, that these aren't glaringly wrong...
Color is slightly off all over. Again though, not so bad that it screams fake (until it is next to a real one)...
Pin A looks a little more matte finish and scraped (lines through enamel) than pin B...BUT

    Does pin A say "Nollywood"????

Hahaha... I can see how you might see Nollywood. That's funny. I will double check, but pretty sure both say Hollywood.

So major issue is NOT underneath the mickey pin back? Gosh - I just can't see it - although now I see 'Nollywood' instead of Hollywood - hahaha - probably just the angle of the photo.

I can't wait till April 22 for the flaw reveal!

Oh my gosh! Maybe you're right. Is the photo taken straight from above - thus hiding the missing post in an optical illusion? I think the post without a back on it may be missing!!!

I think so too. It is hard to tell from the angle, but it does appear that the bottom pin is missing all together.

Ding ding ding ding ding ding ding!

I did not even question the other trader when I received the pin with only one pin post. Definitely a lesson learned.

Might be my eyes, but pin B the label on the back seems to be not a full stamp, compared to A. Pin B lettering isn't complete, it seems slightly shorter in height, or cut off on the bottom, whereas A is clear and full imprint of the 3 lines of detailed info.
Also the front letters seem to be different in style, but could be angle.
My input, till I check the set I bought from DSF.

We're all trying to find the answers in the small print :p

Picking pin A, due to, as mentioned above, missing a post, and the solder is 2 tone, mine is just silver like B, and a smooth mound. Otherwise it's very hard from the front, but my colors are closer to B.
Not sure which one you got at the event, but i pulled a bad pin off the board, just keeping it cause it was an obvious flaw I didn't notice till later.:p
