I was interested in getting this pin.

Pin 21410: WDW - The Magic of Disney Animation Character Class Pin Only (Mickey)

pin21410

The only one I found on ebay is $48.99 Buy It Now! Is this right?

Seems like it may not be authentic either according to pinpics.

Definitely overpriced, as many pins on ebay are. Sometimes I think traders who are also sellers post high prices to increase the trade value of their pins.

"but it now" is not an accurate measure of a pin's value. Use the completed auction tool to get a better range of what something actually sold for.

There are no completed items to compare it to at the moment.

Wow, I know most BIN prices tend to inflate their prices to make up for keeping it listed. Though on the lower price spectrum, a member on the forums was selling said pin for $4.00 just last year.

Hhhmmm, now that I look at the sellers other items, everything they have listed seems way over priced. WOW!

If it were the real deal it may have some value, much like the Ariel Animation Cell. Now they are both scrapped, so goes the value!

I agree that this is way way overboard. A friend of mine wanted this pin and I got it at My "D" pins for $4.00 this year.
I also agree that some people use eBay as a tool to increase the net worth of their collections and pins.

Also, as mentioned, the buy it now is not an indicator of a pins worth. Closed sold auctions are. Just for kick and to prove a point to a friend, I listed a hidden Mickey for $1,000.00 BIN. Just to show him that just because a pin is listed for a certain amount does not mean it is worth that. (and yes! I was hoping someone actually bought it...lol JK)

But while some BIN are very fair, shop around. Also look at how many have sold and for what price. And I have also seen many pins that on the first page are $100.00 and 6 pages deeper are $25.00. Invest time and keep looking. IMO, it is a $4.00 pin.

Call Josh and ask him if he has another or do a call out for one here on the forum. Bet ya get it for less than $5.00........

I have that pin for trade somewhere, they clearanced it out at Company D a few years ago really cheap. I know mine is real because it's still in the Disney plastic wrap... lol.
