It surprises me some of these marque pins do better considering how many that have been out But I can definitely see why certain ones are more popular. I wonder if they will eventually do all the movies.

I only tried for one of these today... and I cannot believe I was outbid at $201.00 ... Are you kidding... Now what will be the star of the Goofy Auction... Grrrrr...
 
Sorry to all those who get outbid by $1.00. Here is my trick and it works a fair number of times lol, go up an extra $1.51. The reason behind it is many people like to put even numbers, such as $20,30,40,50,etc. Instead of putting $20.00, some people will put $21.00 thinking they can get you by that dollar since most people like to bid by nice whole numbers. Then there are the people who try to outbid you by a penny, I've experienced that oh too many times and it always gets me mad, a penny I found on the sidewalk could have been the difference <__< So what I do is I put $1.51 more than my max bid. That way, if someone tries to be smart and bid $1.00 more, they'll lose, $0.01 more, they'll lose, heck, even $1.50, they'll still lose and $1.51 more than my max isn't that much at all for something I really like. Can't hurt, and I won a few things through that (not all pins) because at the last second, the bid goes up to $0.50 less than my max. I just hope nobody uses this on me now O____o OH NO! WHAT HAVE I DONE?!?!? jkjkjk hope this helps
 
I didn't manage to get any of these pins. I wish I had of gotten the Brave Marquee pin, though whoever got that pin, good for you. Hopefully someone else will sell another one in the not so distance future.
 
I didn't get it. I can't believe Mulan & Mother went that high, especially cuz one a few months ago only sold for $25-30 (and I was outbid on that too!)

And that Brave marquee for $45 is kind of a let down when it was going for $80-100 a month or so ago.

The Goon got outbid on a pin?! Is the world coming to an end?!

The Mulan collectors have been woken from their long deep slumber due to the Piece of Movie pin being released. Therefore..all Mulan pins are getting interest right now. If you are patient...the prices will drop again as the Mulan collector goes back into hibernation waiting for their next once-every-two-year release to happen again...

BTW...the seller is a GREAT guy..totally legit and his collection is AMAZING.

As the person selling part of his collection for his daughter I am very thankful to everybody who bid in my auctions!! We made more then enough to cover her book fees we were raising money for and also give her some extra spending money.

Thank you Creativeextremeties and to goofymoe for raising the prices to an unbelievable amount. We were shocked at what some of the pins went for.

As for future sales for our daughters needs, it had better be a very long time before she needs anything else. Our collections can't take much more hits like this.

Thank you again to anybody who bid in my auctions!!!!!

lol, many of us were curious who won the auction, but not many of us thought about the person who sold them all. I'm happier now knowing that the person who made all the cash was part of this forum lol xP

docfish2u, those were some beautiful pins you had, I'm glad you made more than enough (and sad that the matchmaker pin eluded my grasp xP)
 
Like I said before regardless it all went to a good cause :) and now, that enough was raised, yay! I would have never guessed it was you docfish2u! Happy you made what you needed :)

I was worried at first about the Mulan and her mom but to hear that it was just a finger print was a relief! Though I never bid on it, was hopping starry would get it but some other lucky person go it :D.
I was going to bid on Pin 91814: Disney Store Europe - Brave but totally forgot xD! Congrats to whoever got it!
 
Although I was able to get some grails from you, I am sad and happy that you did this at the same time as the Mulan release, had it end while I was out of town. I am so glad that once I knew about it I was able to not look at a single item. I know with the wonderful pins you have in your collection, and I know I would have gotten in so much trouble, lol.
I am so glad you did we'll, you deserve it, and I am glad so many DPF people were able to get pins from your collection. Who knows, maybe they will find their way back to you!

I sooo wish this would have been made known prior to the sale of your pins... I would have bought several more and would have won that pin for sure... We have no problem paying a bit more when we know it is going to a good cause as this was... but if we knew it was you... we would have even went further... Maaaan I could have won that... lol... Next time let us know please...
