Limited Edition 17" Collector Dolls Information

My Eric is scheduled for tomorrow and my Ursula is scheduled for Friday. They both have the same tracking number and have the same order number. I think you're okay, but I would call Disney if the other set doesn't show up tomorrow.

Ok thanks for that. How do you know they're due different days, if you don't mind me asking, if you've got the same tracking number? Thanks

My blast off e-mail lists the two dolls that are from the same order separately, but with one tracking number. When I click on the link for each doll it shows one coming today (yay) and one tomorrow. It's two separate packages, so my thinking is that they just mistakenly entered the same number twice. I did call Disney last week when they were shipped and she told me that both Eric and Ursula had been shipped out to me. Lately for me there have been a lot of online problems with addresses and old orders showing up the same price as my most recent order. My hope is that they are just having another one of their system glitches in the program that we see, but that in house at Disney everything is fine. Please let me know if your doll shows today or if you call. We are in the same position!

Thanks Guppy94! The CM I called didn't state anything about returning the old doll so I might be able to keep it. I hope the new one's better or at least the clear cover isn't cracked. @believe13: Welcome to the boards, you came to the right place to talk about the LE dolls and meet cool people. My store may have a Snow journal but I think Belle is completely gone.@Sanzoline: Congrats on getting #13 Ursula! It's a low and cool number!

If they offer to replace your doll, as stock is limited, they will require you to ship your doll back first before they ship out your replacement. UPS will come to your door in 3 to 5 business days. Make sure you have it packed up and ready to go, as they will only attempt to pick it up a few times. They don't let you know when they are coming until the second time if they miss you the first time. They leave a little sticky note on your door with a day and time slot. They actually piece our returned dolls together to make nice sets and redistribute them, as i was told by a manager.

That could explain how Ltd China Doll came available this summer after selling out in the spring. Maybe they were able to put together like five dolls from customer returns that had defects. I'm happy to hear that they don't just scrap dolls with imperfect boxes. There are people who would still want them!

It only makes sense to take the returns and make them "new" again after a period of time and list them for sale. It would explain why all the LE dolls tend to reappear for a short period later. I know I have returned a couple over the years.

I like the tulle under Ursula. It reminds me of a cloud of ink. I didn't think I would care for it but in person it's really a nice effect.

I know, right? In the past, they have told me 3 to 5 business days UPS would be at my home to pick up the doll... and of course UPS would show up sooner and leave the sticky note behind. On average, for me, it seems to be 2 business days. Make sure to put your packing slip inside the box too and request a receipt!!! I had to go digging through some trash for mine. LOL! Who would have thought they need that?!?!? )

I called about damage to my Eric box--Ursula is due today and I hope she's less damaged.

They're giving me a $20 online gift card. I'd rather have the box without damage, but what's done is done.

Very nice girl on the phone. She kept apologizing. I said that unless she personally came up and kicked my box, she's just fine. I did say that I've read of numerous deliveries with damages and suggested that they put some kind of cushioning between the collectible box and packaging, since it was being marketed as a collectible. And that Disney was better than this. I said that nicely and had her laughing on the call. She didn't do anything wrong.

I do so hate being blamed for things that weren't my fault that I do my best not to unfairly blame others.

I know but I'm in dior financial trouble right now. My birthday is coming up though and I'm trying to get ideas. Even though I probably won't even have a birthday this year. Well, there's nothing wrong with looking. I don't really like ordering online because of shipping and my closest disney store is an hour away so the gas isn't really worth it. But I have lots of disney stuff I'd be willing to trade. Did they have Beauty and the beast at your store?

Yes, they did have Beauty and the Beast. But that was last week, they may not now. I can call and ask, if they do I would not have the money to go and get it for another week and a half

The impression I get is it all depends on when you call and if someone has returned a doll for some reason and it has arrived at the distribution center. It is pretty much a luck of the draw. We can hope that maybe one day they will make additional boxes to replace those damaged in transit. On a positive note, if you really look at every box very closely, even those from the stores, they are all flawed! I can always find a flaw in any box!!! So, we all have flawed boxes, some just more visible than others. )

Hi everyone! I'm new here, but have been browsing the thread for a couple days. I've only known about the LE dolls since earlier this week but I have really fallen in love with them! I'd LOVE to have both the regular belle and Christmas belle, Alice, and Jack and Sally! But unfortunately I don't have the money for them right now. :cry: Hopefully someday!! I'd also really love to get my hands on the designer fairytale journals! At least definitely Beauty and the beast and Snow white. I'm obsessed with victorian, antique-ish, steampunk type stuff and they just scream that style to me! But I've only been able to find beauty and the beast on ebay for ridiculous prices. If anyone has any of these for sale for a decent price and would be awesome enough to hold them for a while until I have the money or would be willing to do a trade (at least with the journals) I would be eternally grateful! I know it's a long shot but hey it doesn't hurt to ask right?!

Anyway, I'm really looking forward to being apart of this forum and talking with you all!!

Welcome to the forums. And good luck on starting your collection. I just started collecting dolls in Dec. It becomes an addiction trying to hunt down the LE dolls from the past few years. Haha

Its really sad that so many dolls/packages are coming damaged. I hope they can figure out how to package these better.

Ahh, dilemmas. So, I have to choose between the ariel/eric fairytale set or the 17" Anna. I've managed some magical money juggling this year but really, just one. I have only 2 17" (Ariel and Merida/Elinor set) and Animators dolls now and really do want the collection under control. I fell in love with Anna during the latest preview when she's called a "feisty pants", I may have been called the same a time or two but I'm also called a mermaid. UGH why won't they just release a sneaky peak so I can make an informed decision. halp.

I honestly believe they'll do Jafar when Aladdin hits bluray (in 2015?), so I'm already looking forward to all three of the dolls that movie will get. Since that's a D23 year, it's practically a gimme they'll get a similar treatment to TLM.

So excited!!! I got my King Fergus doll and my Merida lip gloss...they are both awesome.....oh yah I got Prince Eric too. However, I find it odd that I am way more excited of lip gloss and the King Fergus doll LOL.

If they made a King Fergus LE I would be SOOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY!!!!! It would go perfectly with my Brave themed office!!

If I had to choose, I would go with Anna. The 17" dolls are always just so amazing!!! Plus, you will save $40. ) I actually think the movie is going to be rather good!!!
