Uhmmm I think the reason there are no brave pins for the trip to Ireland is cause her story is based in scotland....although if I remember correctly I don't think Aladdin was based in egypt. His story origin is suppose to be Saudi Arabia....so yea.
 
I think it would be great if they did do a Frozen pin! I would not however spend $5000 by any means, even if I could! :lol: And yes, Brave was set in Scotland. :)

I'm not sure about the newer trips these last couple of years but previous to that, all the AbD trips got a new pin each day that was especially made to tie in with the trip and "theme of the day". I wouldn't pay $5k for a set of pins ... but I would totally consider saving up for another AbD trip and consider them a great bonus :D

We received these on our the Peru trip in 2008, there was a special lanyard and they also gave out celebration (more general) pins for birthdays and anniversaries as well.

Great question. I hope not, but it almost seems suiting that disney do so. Frozen might equal a cold destination like Alaska, I think it's going to happen even though I will claw my eyes out once I see it.

Adventures by Disney is an escorted tour (in whichever country they have available) run by Disney. You typically get pins for each day that you are there, in the theme of the city you are visiting.

BTW, I posted on another group I belong to and the gal who took the Scotland trip told me there were pins! ^_^ She sent me a picture, which I have asked for permission to post before I do so. There are THREE Brave pins! One with Merida & Angus, one with Elinor (I think, it could be the other large bear), and one with the triplets as bears!
 
So there are other " BRAVE " pins we have not seen yet. I think we just ruined someone's day!

:poke:So all those Brave completest people out there don't have complete sets?:poke:

I didn't see them on PinPics.

Nope, it is not a horrible joke. Here are the pictures of ALL the pins you get in Scotland...note the THREE Brave pins...



PLEASE do not post this anywhere else (on any other Disney forums). I told the person that it would only be posted here (she promised not to spoil any of the surprises for other people who have not yet taken the trip!)

And it won't be posted on pinpics until someone actually takes the trip. I am going to ask if she could take closer-up pictures of them and let me know which ones were given out on which specific day.
 
Oh my! Those Brave collectors are going to flip when they see this! Thanks so much for sharing this info. I clicked because I didn't know about ABD and was curious. I learned my something new for the day....does that mean I can now go back to bed?
 
Oh my god I love all three!!! Especially the stones of brave one and Merida with angus!!!! And the brothers... Ahhhh I just love them all....
 
I asked the gal if she could take close-ups of the Brave pins so hopefully we can get better pictures! :)
 
At least there is no Elinor!! That is a HUGE weight off of my shoulders. Thank you so much to you and your friend for sharing! One more thing to add to the never ending list of pins I'm missing! Lol

Now I'm fearing if they would ever make a WiR one O_O What is the LE size on all of these pins and what do they do with the extras out of curiosity? If they ever go to Denmark I really hope there is an LM one :D

Why would they make a wreck it Ralph one? These pins are suppose to be souvenirs for places along the tour that people visit..... Where would they visit to have a wreck it Ralph pin? Sugar rush? But the little mermaid would be a possibility if they ever did Denmark. Her story is a big deal over there that there's a statue of a mermaid on the rocks that you can visit...

And these pins are not LE but they are also not released to the public unless you take the trip through this particular company. So even though they are OE pins they're still pretty difficult to come by for the most part...

So true! Why would they create wir pins? Doesn't make sense. And unfortunately even if they are OE like you said, most adventures by Disney pins on pinpics have no people trading them. They aren't circulating that much. //
